Abstract:Information Architecture(IA) plays a very important role in the information resource planning,organization and the website operation.However,most websites haven't made full use of this theory and tool,because users take more negative experience than the positive one,after a lot of examination and analysis of the main websites in China taken by people.Thus,we establish a framework that helps us to analyze the crucial factors impacting website IA to account for the phenomena,based on the right understanding of the concept of IA.Combining with the status quo IA application in China,we then use the framework to analyze the main obstacles in IA.Finally,we give some good suggestions to improve the quality of IA.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to analyze the problems of SEIA of land use planning and to discuss the research directions on basis of progress in SEIA of land use planning in China. Method of documentation was employed. The results indicate that the theory and significance of SEIA of land use planning have been studied thoroughly, and practical work contents and procedures are clear. However, studies on assessment methods and index system of SEIA of land use planning are not systemic and thorough, and their practicability needs to be further verified. The relevant researches can offer helpful references to the SEIA of land use planning. It is concluded that more attention should be paid to researches of methods and index system of SEIA of land use planning, to promote researches on combination of practice and theory.

Abstract:This essay provides a review on the recreational waterfront foreign literatures searched on SSCI and SCI databases,highlighting representative perspectives in the research that has been conducted to date.Study contents include four study modules of waterfront environment protection,waterfront recreation conflict,waterfront recreation management as well as waterfront recreation value evaluation.Differences in study contents exist between Chinese and foreign scholars in terms of research perspective,positioning of waterfront recreation on community and direction of waterfront recreational spatial development.Based on depth analysis of these differences,this essay briefly discusses the enlightenment on Chinese relevant studies.

Abstract:This paper arms to find the similarities and differences of research subjects and theoretical sources,and comprehensively grasp theoretical foundation and development trend of the field.Firstly,based on the related articles about information visualization from CNKI,CSSCI and WoS in recent 15 years,this paper comparatively analyzes their time distribution,and identifies core authors through author co-citation analysis by CiteSpace II.Secondly,it analyzes the geographical distribution by Ucinet.Finally,it makes a comparative analysis on the knowledge base in this field through literatures co-citation analysis,and identifies the basic literatures about information visualization.

Abstract:This paper reviews current IS research about China which has been published in international IT/IS journals and conference proceedings from 1998 to 2007.Papers by Chinese mainland authors and by overseas authors are compared in terms of research topics,research levels,and research methods.Research by these two types of authors are further compared with Chinese domestic IS research[using results presented in Ji et al.(2007)],and with international IS research[using results presented in Vessey et al.(2002)].We found that the research methods used by Chinese mainland IS researchers in international publications are very similar to those used by other international IS researchers, while their research topics are close to those in Chinese domestic publications.For the overseas authors,both the research topic profile and research methods are pretty similar with international patterns.

Abstract:Purpose/Significance] Recently, there has been an increasing trend that the bibliometric studies of domestic competitive intel-ligence tend to use the knowledge map. However, there is still no research aiming at comparing the international studies and domestic stud-ies. [ Method/Process] Using software Citespace, this paper analyzes researches related competitive intelligence at home and abroad with the paper dated from 1998 to 2014 collected from Web of Science database and Chinese Social Science Citation Index ( CSSCI) . The paper compares the related researches from the perspectives of hot research topic, knowledge base and evolution. [ Result/Conclusion] This pa-per concludes three research results by drawing and comparing knowledge maps, and offers valuable reference for the future development of domestic competitive intelligence research.

Abstract:Urban sprawl is a world phenomenon which has drawn the scholars' attention in China.This article starts with reviewing the definitions,characteristics, measurements,mechanisms and strategies of urban sprawl at home and abroad. Then,it attempts to give comprehensive assessments on the above works.Results show that:①existing researches in China mainly focused on the descriptive analysis, and lack of quantitative analysis;②studies in the West are diverse,but are so scattered that need to be integrated;③cities in China and in the western countries have many differences in many aspects,so Chinese studies about urban sprawl must consider the actual situation of our country;④domestic evaluations always used some indices to measure the effects of policies but couldn't combine it with GIS graphs ideally,therefore,it is needed to utilize western methods as a reference to rich our studies.

Abstract:This study examines information systems (IS) research in Chinese Mainland in recent years and identifies the similarities and the differences between international and Chinese IS research in terms of research topics and research methods. The data consists of a total of 410 research papers published in ten leading Chinese academic journals related to IS over the five-year period from 1999 to 2004. Compared to IS research abroad, the following may be said of Chinese IS research: (1) Systems-related issues, especially system design issues, system implementation, analytical models and tools, DSS/ESS/EIS are emphasized in research topics, whereas human-related and research methodologies issues are scarce. (2) Empirical studies, including case study, survey and experiment, are few and far between. (3) The majority of non-empirical studies focus on applications and conceptual description of IS, mainly in different applied fields and introducing or illustrating hot topics abroad. The "general shift" from traditional issues such as system design to non-technical problems is still continuing. There is a need to go beyond mere description of IS related phenomenon and to move away from non-empirical to empirical studies.

Abstract:Based on the literature review of CNKI database on rural settlements in China over the last three decades, the paper supplied a general comment on the main research contents and current situation of domestic rural settlement in China from the view of architecture as well as other related fields. On the base of the review, the paper made a conclusion on the systematization of the complicated rural settlement under different research penetrations, accompanied by an explic itassessment of the major theories and methodologies deployed in the field. After that, it conven iently put forward that the future study should be focused on emphasizing the broadening of interdisciplinary vision to make the research orientation more diversified, enhancing the quantitative research scope by computer to make the research contents more scientific and accurate, and instructing related design exploration to combine the research achievement and design practice more effectively.

Abstract:Intelligent construction (IC) has emerged as a new approach to transforming the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry through the integration of advanced information technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). However, due to its interdisciplinary nature, the relevant documents on IC are diverse and fragmented. To provide a comprehensive understanding of research progress and future opportunities in IC and to offer suggestions for both developing and developed countries, this study employed VOSviewer and Gephi to conduct a comparative review of relevant literature from the 21st century. A keyword search of Web of Science (WOS) identified 2788 relevant documents which were subjected to an overall co-citation and co-authorship analysis. To illustrate the differences between developing and developed countries, China, a representative developing country, was taken as the candidate to be compared with developed countries via a co-occurrence analysis. Differences between China and developed countries in the three sub-directions of IC, research foundation and domain knowledge transformation; information perception, fusion, and decision making; and embodied AI, were qualitatively discussed. Finally, four future research directions were suggested: (1) data fusion and decision-making, (2) improving the accuracy and efficiency of knowledge representation, learning, and utilization, (3) the establishment of large, pre-trained models in the field, and (4) embodied AI for taking actions according to the decisions made. This paper provides an overview of the relevant literature and the IC context for practitioners and scholars in the AEC industry in countries with different levels of development, as well as suggestions for the future development of IC. The findings of this study can serve both academia and industry in promoting IC in the AEC industry.
