Location Choice of Multinational Truckload Enterprises in China

Abstract:In order to make an analysis about the spatial distribution of multinational truckload enterprises in China, the software of ArcGIS 9.2 was adopted to analyze it. The result showed that multinational truckload enterprises in China were distributed along the coast and Yangtze River, which took on a T-shaped structure, including the Yangtze Delta Region, Pearl River Delta area, areas surrounding Bo Sea, northeastern China, central Chi-na and southwest China for a total of six regional automobile networks. Then, the location choice factors were quantitatively assessed by Eviews 3.1. According to specific research method, this paper adopted Poisson regression models. And finally,on the basis of the above results,some factors which impacted the pattern of multinational truckload enterprises in China,such as the transportation infrastructure,accessibility, human resources and pow-er,were summed up in the paper.
