Abstract:The responsibilities and functions in project safety risk management for designers and contractors are discussed. Generally the process of risk management is divided into three stages: the risk identification, evaluation, and decision making. The former two are mainly the designer's responsibility, for which a model of sub-system risk management approach is put forward. The model is exemplified and analyzed with real cases. The feasibility in risk identification and evaluation period is proved. The evaluation criteria of occurrence probability of unexpected events and severity of outcomes are rationally set up in evaluation method, which provide the scientific basis in risk evaluation of the construction safety.

Abstract:With the improvement of comprehensive development level, civil engineering is perceived a promoted position in the development of the whole market economy in China. Civil engineering is an important link for building construction. Good civil engineering construction management ensures the overall engineering quality control level. Through the reasonable analysis of construction standards, construction contents and construction steps of civil engineering, the actual construction control and management methods of civil engineering are defined, the effective control scheme of civil engineering quality is analyzed, and reasonable suggestions for solving problems are put forward, so as to realize effective control and management of civil engineering construction quality in China. This paper makes an analysis of the actual construction control and fully studies the measures and schemes of the actual construction quality control to improve the management efficiency of the construction quality control of civil engineering.

Abstract:In recent years, with the rapid development of urban development and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, China's construction industry has also achieved remarkable development. In order to meet the needs of urbanization, many large buildings and high-rise buildings have been built up. These buildings are usually large, so they put forward higher and higher requirements for the technical level of engineering construction. Whether it is for the stability or safety of buildings, it must be continuously improved. Basic design is a key part of the structural design of a building. For the safety of buildings, natural disasters or accidental injuries can have extremely bad effects on urban development and people's life. This paper briefly discusses the basic design analysis in architectural structure design, and seeks the key technology in this process to provide a guarantee for the safety of the building.

Abstract:Abstract Prefabricated building construction has strong environmental protection characteristics and also shows high application advantages in terms of construction cost and construction efficiency. It plays a good role in promoting the construction technology level. However, in the process of prefabricated building construction, there still exists some inevitable quality defects, which have a large impact on the overall quality of the construction project. It is not conducive to the scientific development of the construction industry. Therefore, effective measures must be taken for the prefabricated assembly. The quality problems in building construction are prevented, so that the quality of building construction is effectively guaranteed. This paper analyzes the common quality problems in prefabricated building construction and puts forward some specific measures according to the actual situation, hoping to provide an effective reference for the prevention of common quality problems in prefabricated building construction.

Abstract:In this article, authors study the four characteristics of concrete buildings during construction. They are complex of procedures, transition and mar of procedural product, and time dependent of concrete buildings during construction. Furthermore, a new system of quality management and control of concrete buildings during construction is proposed. It combines processes quality management with protection of processes product. The result of engineering applying showed that this system helps to improve the engineering quality.

Abstract:Construction is one of the most hazardous industries due to its unique nature. Measured by international standards, construction site safety records in China are poor. This paper aims to examine the status of safety management in the Chinese construction industry, explore the risk-prone activities on construction sites, and identify factors affecting construction site safety. The findings reveal that the behavior of contractors on safety management are of grave concern, including the lack of provision of personal protection equipment, regular safety meetings, and safety training. The main factors affecting safety performance include ‘poor safety awareness of top management’, ‘lack of training’, ‘poor safety awareness of project managers’, ‘reluctance to input resources to safety’ and ‘reckless operations’. The study also proposes that the government should play a more critical role in stricter legal enforcement and organizing safety training programs.

Abstract:Water and fire protection design in buildings is a very critical part of construction projects. The main purpose is to effectively prevent fire hazards, and to conduct fire control in a timely manner when a fire accident occurs suddenly. The related design is very critical. Requires relevant workers to attach great importance to it, strengthen the design of upgrading water supply and drainage fire-fighting facilities, and strictly control the construction quality to ensure the safety of residents’ lives and property. Therefore, the article integrates the actual situation of the construction project, focuses on explaining the problems that should be paid attention to in the water supply and drainage and fire protection design work of the building, and proposes effective measures to control the construction quality, hoping to provide some help to relevant workers.

Abstract:Building decoration engineering is the secondary creation and improvement of the main structure of the building. Construction decoration engineering construction is the process of decoration design scheme into decoration entity. Its construction quality is not only constrained by the customer needs and the design scheme, but also needs to meet the relevant requirements of the national quality standards for building decoration engineering. The construction quality of building decoration project is affected by many factors. Starting from the definition and value of architectural decoration engineering, this paper interprets the quality requirements of architectural decoration engineering, and seeks for the elements affecting the quality of the project, as well as the correlation between the influencing elements. Then explore the quality control measures in the project construction, and elaborate from the perspective of the construction personnel management, construction technology improvement, design planning, construction planning and scientific management in the construction.
