Analysis on Building the Evaluation Index System on World-Class Geological Survey Organization

Abstract:This paper points out that building a scientific and complete index system for evaluating world-class geological survey organization must insist on the principles such as giving consideration to both comprehensiveness and fineness,combining qualitative analysis with quantitive analysis,operability,goal orientation and prominent features.On the basis,this paper introduces the firstlevel index,which includes: service,talented person,technology(equipment),management,investment,achievements,and efficiency.Then it argues that according to the characteristics of each index,the index can be subdivided into second and tertiary level.This paper requests that China Geological Survey should adapt to the changes in economic and social environment voluntarily;improve the comprehensive ability;and strive to create first-class benefits,First-class achievemtnts,first-class service,first-class brains,best equipment,outstanding managements,and first-class culture under the guidance of world-class geological survey index.
