Abstract:Since 1970s,owing to the development of socio-linguistics. There emerged new dissertations and trends of studying translation from the perspective of socio-linguistics which evident the social nature of translation and begin a new research area in translation. Since 1990s,the socio-linguistic perspective receive due attention in the domestic translation circle. Furthering the study and putting translation studies and socio-linguistics together enable us to answer a number of questions and will surely make a breakthrough in translation studies.
