Analysis of the state of mental health and satisfaction of majors in freshmen of Independent Institute

Abstract:To explore the relationship of mental health and satisfaction of majors in freshmen of Independent Institute in order to provide a scientific basis for the mental health education,an investigation was made among 1921 freshmen with UPI and a self-made questionnaire on students' general condition.The percentages of freshmen meeting the first,the second,and the third selection standards were 13.9%,31.7% and 54.4% respectively.There are marked differences in mental health of freshmen due to different levels of satisfaction of their majors.The result shows that the freshmen in the Independent Institute are psychologically healthy,and to upgrade the level of satisfaction of major in Independent Institute freshmen will be an effective means to improve their mental health.
