Abstract:The control alogrithm is usually PID in the DeviceNet ,but many objects is nonline, so the results of the PID alogrithm is not good.SMC is a robust control alogrithm, so SMC with the DeviceNet can get better results in the system.The experiment results demonstrate the SMC can control the motor better.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the PID and the Bang-Bang control methods. To compare the performance of these traditional algorithms, the speed control of a brushless DC drive system is implemented in real-time, using these two methods. The parameters in the controller can be adjusted by the hardware and the software to achieve the optimum performance of the closed-loop system. The experiment results proved that these two controllers have their own merit and defect according to the different steady-state performance and dynamic response respectively. It is concluded that the PID and the Bang-Bang controllers could be used in different applications.

Abstract:For BLDCM speed regulating system, the parameter’s self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller was constructed. A BLDCM simulation model was built, based on it a control system with close loops of speed and current was experimented. This controller improves the performance of the whole system by adjusting certain parameters of the self-adaptive Fuzzy-PID controller online.This strategy controller is proved to have faster dynamic andsmaller overshoot compared to PID controller both in simulation and experiment.

Abstract:A PID controller based on CMAC is applied to AC Speedregulation system of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM),which takes place of the controller of speed control of PMSM control system with double loop.The experiment results show the system used this method has quick respond,small overshoot and good robustness,and the system is superior to the traditional PI controller in dynamic and static performance.

Abstract:A special controller based on ARM(advanced RISC machines) was designed to effectively control the energy regulation based variable-speed electro-hydraulic system and improve its application characteristic.In the view of energy regulation and based on the energy supply-demand relationship,a PID based compound control strategy was designed to control the inverter,the proportional directional valve and the proportional throttle valve.The system control parameters are set by the keyboard and the operation state of the system can be real-time displayed on the LCD installed in the controller.And the controller provides the serial communication interface between the controller and the upper-end computer for real-time monitor.The rectangle experiments of valve control system,variable-speed control system,valve variable-speed compound control system,and energy regulation based variable-speed control system were accomplished.The experimental results show that the controller can work effectively,and the designed system can obtain fast response and good energy-saving effect.

Abstract:The structural performance of SMC Series cylinder of CE1 was introduced,the experimental system of pneumatic servo was set up based on CE1L32-200 cylinder model,typical the input signal responses,such as tracking step,square,sine,slopes etc were experimental studied by using'fuzzy +PID'control and PWM mode.Experimental results show that the system has a better tracking performance,CE1 series cylinder can be applied in the general industry scene and it is also suitable in the modulation servo positioning system development.

Abstract:Model predictive control (MPC) has gained increasing popularity in the control of motor drives and power converters. However, its control performance deteriorates when there is a mismatch in system parameters. This article introduces a novel neural-network-based predictive control (NNPC) architecture to address this issue. By means of a supervised learning mechanism based on the input-output data of the governed system, the established neural network can replace the original predictive model. In contrast to the standard MPC controller that uses constant parameters to predict future behaviors, the advantage of the proposed method lies in the fact that it can learn the non-linearity of the system and adapt to the parameter perturbations. Consequently, NNPC enhances robustness against parameter variations while maintaining the superior performance of the conventional MPC method. Finally, the proposed method is validated through comparative simulations on a surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor.

Abstract:Network-induced delay has a significant effect on the performance of NCS. The existence of network makes the design and analysis of NCS complex. This paper aims to present a novel dual PID controller for NCS after making some reasonable simplification of the complex structure of NCS. One of advantages of the novel PID controller is that it improves dynamic performance and disturbance rejection capability. Meanwhile, the control performance of the novel PID has been compared with that of a conventional PID.

Abstract:Abstract This paper designs a direct current (DC) motor controller based on Arduino and Simulink to solve the problems of poor openness, complicated programming and difficult signal detection of the existing teaching experimental equipment. The controller integrates the Model-Based Design (MBD) concept, involving single-chip microcomputer, system modeling, micromotor, automatic control and other technologies. The hardware system includes Arduino, encoder, driver, input/output and other interfaces. The software system uses Simulink as the software development platform of the experimental device. It has the functions of algorithm design, simulation, execution, real-time data observation, etc. The limiting incremental PID control algorithm is used to control the speed of the DC motor, and the experimental results verify the design requirements. The hardware and software systems have the characteristics of good openness, fast implementation, safe and reliable, low cost, can complete the verification and improvement of various algorithms such as motor control, and can meet the teaching and research needs of the training of new engineering and technology.

Abstract:Abstract Aiming at the problems of low control precision and complex control process in electrical engineering automation control, this paper proposes a kind of intelligent electrical engineering automation control technology based on DeviceNet. This paper focuses on the development process, communication protocol and object modeling method of DeviceNet universal I / O interface based on microprocessor. At the same time, this paper designs the application layer software, and gives the detailed hardware circuit and software design process. The experimental results show that the method can reduce the complexity of the control process and improve the control accuracy.

Abstract:To meet the developing requirement of intelligence and networking of servo drivers,and to solve the problem that servo drive device profile has not been defined in DeviceNet and this gets a lot of difficulties in application such as production design,the DeviceNet control interfaces for the servo driver was defined based on deep analysis of the DeviceNet protocol.The control signal flow of the servo driver was given,and the hardware was made and the software was compiled,and corresponding experiments were done.The experimental results verify the feasibility and practicality of the proposed method.The method is an important supplement to hierarchy of motor control devices in DeviceNet protocol,and the research process of the device profile can also be used in other special DeviceNet node developments.

Abstract:The motor protection measurement and control device based on DeviceNet fieldbus and symmetrical components method is developed. It has all functions of protection, alarm, measurement, control and DeviceNet communication. Communication mechanism of DeviceNet is studied and communication realized method of this device is offered. The object modeling and device description of this device are realized. Analysis and discuss of the problem of real application of symmetrical components about adopting same filtering sequence without considering system's grounding mode is made. The different filtering sequence formulas used in large or small grounding current system are presented separately.

Abstract:To fit in with the developing requirement of integrated functions of protection measurement, control and communication of protective relays, a protection measurement and control system based on DeviceNet fieldbus is designed. The communication mechanism of DeviceNet is studied and data trigger modes, communication connection, message types and other key technologies are analyzed. The object modeling and device description of the device are realized too. Results of network test, dynamic simulation and test in the field indicate that this system can accomplish all the communication tasks in real time and can make precise response to every kind of faults of the motor, transformer, line and capacitor. Moreover, this system has higher measurement precision and better control capability.

Abstract:The design and development of a Networked Intelligent Controller (NIC) based on embedded system is presented. The developed controller is an intelligent remote unit featuring embedded technology for access control, monitoring and output control. Basically, the controller has data acquisition, computation, transducer and networked communication functions. The device has low power consumption and small size. With Ethernet, control and supervision are accomplished through an industrial local area network. Using a high integrated 32-bit RISC microprocessor combined with serial A/D and D/A converters made the electronic systems compact with high performance. The controller offers the widest range of features and flexibility, with an overall design for reliability, durability and case of installation. Expanded input and output capabilities can be added to maximate its functions. Based on ARM embedded system, the controller can even run operation systems. Such a Networked Intelligent Controller can be used for various applications involved in real-time controls.

Abstract:The modular multi-level converter based direct current (MMC-DC) power system is a dynamic equilibrium system, and the control of MMC is quite important to realise instantaneous balance of active and reactive power. Until now, the control architecture with outer-loop, inner-loop and circulating current controllers is widely used for MMCs in the DC power system, and these controllers are required to have excellent dynamic response and robustness. However, controllers based on existing proportional–integral (PI) control or conventional sliding-mode control (SMC) have unsatisfactory performances. Therefore, an improved SMC method is proposed in this study for inner-loop and circulating current controllers. Compared with PI and conventional SMC, the improved SMC has better dynamic response and robustness performance and can suppress chattering phenomenon substantially. The simulation model of a four-terminal MMC-DC system is established in power systems computer aided design/electromagnetic transients including DC (PSCAD/EMTDC), based on which, comparison between PI control, conventional SMC and the improved SMC under typical working conditions, e.g. steady state, large disturbances of power step, is conducted, and the feasibility and superiorities of the improved SMC are verified.

Abstract:This paper proposes an improved active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) approach for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), coupled with sensorless sliding mode control (SMC) and fuzzy control. Through MATLAB/Simulink simulations, it is evident that this method significantly improves the robustness and exhibits fast response characteristics in motor control, and the motor output current demonstrates a substantial improvement compared to traditional PID control.

Abstract:In the framework of the networked control systems (NCSs), the components are connected with each other over a shared band-limited network. The merits of NCSs include easy extensibility, resource sharing, high reliability and so forth. However, the insertion of the communication network brings many challenges, such as network-induced phenomena and cyber-security, which should be handled properly. On the other hand, the sliding mode control (SMC) has become an effective scheme for the synthesis of NCSs due to its strong robustness and SMC has wide applications in NCSs. In this paper, some recent advances on SMC for NCSs are reviewed. In particular, some new SMC schemes for NCSs subject to time-delay, packet losses, quantisation and uncertainty/disturbance are summarised firstly. Subsequently, the problem of SMC for NCSs under scheduling protocols is discussed, where different communication protocols are introduced for the energy saving purpose during the synthesis of NCSs. Next, some recent results on SMC for NCSs with actuator/sensor fault and cyber-attack are recalled. Finally, the conclusion is provided and the potential research challenges on SMC for NCSs are pointed out.
