Design of Resource-oriented Geospatial Information Service Based on REST

Abstract:This paper designs a resource-oriented geospatial information service by combining with the Representational State Transfer(REST) Web Service and Open Geospatial Consortium(OGC) specification.In order to achieve information sharing and interoperability,OGC specification is adopted as the service interface standard.REST is adopted to implement services,and is opened to the public in the form of resource.A uniform interface is shared by all of the resources which transfer between the server and the client.
