Abstract:Architecture of resource-oriented WebGIS and related design methods were proposed by combining with the REST-ful Web Service and OGC open standard specification.In order to share information and interoperate,OGC specification was adopted as the service interface standard.REST was adopted to implement services,and was opened to the public in the form of resource.A Uniform interface was shared by all of the resources which transferred between the server and the client.A web-based land-use resource management prototype system which was able to publish and retrieve information from the distributed heterogeneous network environment was build to verify the architecture.Common abilities of land-use management such as querying and changing were also implemented in the system.
