Economic Values Optimization： Effective Approaches to Help Undergraduates Develop the Quality of Integrity

Abstract:College days are the critical stage for the youth to develop their values towards the world and life. Thus, it has become a common concern across the whole world to cuhivate undergraduates＇ quality of integrity, help them possess such values, and move forward the precautions against corruption. The values of integrity and economy, two elements of the value system, are inseparable and mutually dependent. Perspectives held by undergraduates to wealth, justice, honesty and employment is directly linked to the development of the sense of integrity. Effective approaches to help undergraduates develop the sense are as follows： promote and develop the dominant cultural values, enrich social practices, conduct gradually advancing hierarchical education, and optimize economic values of contemporary undergraduates.
