Abstract:The Twelfth-Five-Year Plan of Anhui Province positions Bengbu as the central city of the Northern Anhui,which sets higher demands on cultural construction of Bengbu.This paper analyses the problems emerging in process of cultural building and cultural traits of Bengbu.Based on the analysis,this paper suggests 6 approaches in cultural reconstruction of Bengbu and a new cultural pattern of Bengbu,which consists of 5 core orientations,i.e.,the livable capital city of post-City Belt in Wanjiang,the ecological hinterland of the Pan-Yangtze River Delta,the cultural center of urban agglomeration along Huai River,the industry center of neo-Northern Anhui Touring Area and the romantic city of China,thus forming the cultural motivation factor of Bengbu and promoting the soft power of Bengbu as the central city of the Northern Anhui.
