Abstract:At present, the crux of social contradiction and social problems in our country lies in the inerest imbalance initiated fro- m the interest adjustment, fundamentally the interest contradiction and conflicts. The key to constructing a harmonious socialist society is to coordinate various interest relations properly so as to form an interest coordinating mechanism, which can comprehensively expr- ess, effectively balance and scientifically adjust social interets. In this article the author mainly probes into the theory and practical si- gnificance of benefit coordination and social harmony through analyzing current interest contradictions. Specifically in the first place, it examines interests, interest contradiction, interest analysis methods and interest coordinate mechanism, then analyzes the present inte- rest contradiction, and finally discusses some issues on coordinating interest relations and constructing a harmonious society.
