Abstract:The think tank plays an important and unique role in the process of establishing India's diplomatic stratagems and policies. India is one of the developing countries where the think tank is considered with the earliest discovery, the largest scale and the widest influence. This paper analyzes the main characteristics, functions and developing trends of India's think tank through narrating India's nine main think tanks, such as diplomacy and security.
