Abstract:This article analyzes and corrects 61 mistakes in Zhouli Zhengyi(Vol.4)published by Zhonghua Book Company,which includes incorrect acceptances on the views between the Yis(i乙巳)edition and the Chu(楚)edition,and mutual mistakes resulting from the context,similar graphemes and meanings as well as redundancy,transpositions and wrong provenances.In addition,this article detects 46 mistakes in punctuations,omitted collations,confusing quotations,incorrect pauses,pauses at the wrong places,and mistakes in marking book titles,geographical and personal names.

Abstract:Xunzijiaoshi(荀子校释) provides precise and appropriate annotations to Xunzi(荀子).It compiled and revisited the previous research available both within and without the country,dissolved doubts and problems and offered insightful opinions of the text of Xunzi.Nevertheless,little omissions and small errors are inevitable.Five mistakes are analyzed in this article: qi(齐) in heqi(和齐)shall not be pronounced differently;Shuai(率) has been mispronounced twice;Juan(蠲) in juanyi(蠲疑) is a borrowed character of ■,She(埶) in shezaibenchao shall be pronunced as she(设),and aishe(隘慑) is identical to dianai(垫隘) in Zuo.

Abstract:This paper discusses some variant characters in the remarks affiliated to Sui(Hexagram 17 in current version), Wu Wang(Hexagram 25), Xian(Hexagram 31), and Heng(Hexagram 32) in the Zhouyicopied on the bamboo slips of Chu, and raises new interpretations to the remarks attached to the top line of Sui, those to the hexagram Wu Wang, as well as the remarks to its second and fifth lines, remarks to the initial and top lines of hexagram Heng. This discussion is of fundamental significance to the studies of the Text ofZhouyi.

Abstract:Hong Xingzu's Chucibuzhu(楚辞补注)is one of the most important exegeses in ancient annotated texts of Chuci,it has many versions.Zhonghua Publisher printed the punctuated text of Chucibuzhu(楚辞补注)in 1983.This punctuated text uses the Jiguge version as the original text,compiled by Bai Huawen and his assistants,but there have some errors in emendation and punctuation in the punctuated text.Depending on contrasting the various versions of Chucibuzhu(楚辞补注)and other works,this paper correct such errors above thiry items for inviting the specialists to offer their criticisms.

Abstract:According to the Catalogue, there were still 63 articles of Mozi existed, while in Zhong Xing Guan Ge Bibliotheca, only 61 articles existed. As a matter of fact, we find merely 53 pieces now in Si Ku Quan Shu. And it’s the same when we consider all the preserving versions of Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty and Song Dynasty as well. Upon that, we take the other 10 articles for nought. As for the non-existing version of 63 articles, it’s due to a misapprehending of the Catalogue’ the corrector about Mozi Summary in Geshutiyao,the original Catalogue (“the number of the articles listed here…… is consistent with Han Zhi”), and the original meaning of the Bibliotheca(from Qinshi to Zashou there are 61 articles).Whereupon, the existence of the so-called 2 additional pieces, mentioned in the Catalogue, becomes out of all reason.

Abstract:Zi Zhi Tong Jian(Comprehensive Mirror for Aid in Government) is considered as the reprehensive of the ancient chronological history writing in China as well as one of the basic historical materials in the middle ancient times in Chinese history.It is rich in historical data.There are,however,some mistakes in this work,some of which resulted from carelessness,but others from the compiling style of the work as a chronological history.Focuses have been made respectively on the two sorts of mistakes from the Turkic historical materials in Zi Zhi Tong Jian.And at the same time,some mistakes in Differentiation of Zi Zhi Tong Jian have also been studies in the present paper.

Abstract:At present,people research ChuCi most frequently use edition of Song HongXingZu's ChuCiBuZhu Song Dynasty,witch Song edition disappeared,Ming edition has been keeping until now. Among them Wang Yi's ChuCiZhangJu,some contradictions exist no matter in prefaces or notes. This is especially obvious on the author and the preface of ZhaoYinShi. This thesis plans to distinguish the mistakes on the author of ZhaoYingShi and WangYi's preface of ZhaoYinShi recorded by three different literatures,and think that WenXuanJiZhu's preface of ZhaoYinShi most closes to the original appearance of WangYi's preface.

Abstract:Professor Yu Yingshi has contributed a lot to understanding the seating order at Hongmen banquet.But because of an error in up-to-date edition of Shuo Yuan,some remained issues are not well resolved.In Terms of the Ancient Edition of Shuo Yuan quoted by ancient annotations and Encyclopedia,this error can be corrected and as a result,the seating order at Hongmen banquet can be understood more clearly.

Abstract:Mi Fu’s Hua Shi（A history of Chinese painting） is an influential critical work on ancient paintings and calligraphy. In recent 20 years, quite a few emendated editions have been published which is very helpful to common readers and academic researchers as well. But when we take a close look at these editions, we may find defects on various dimensions, like in original version selection, proofreading, and annotation. In this article, all these problematic issues are discussed, aimed to have a more comprehensive understanding of this work from modern perspectives. Hopefully we will have some new editions to meet various needs.

Abstract:In the study of Wang Yangming and Post -Yangming school of thought,there exists a quite gen-eral point of view:Xu Ai,Wang Yangming’s famous early disciple,came to Longchang,Guizhou with Wang Yangming - a clear and unambiguous “Qianzhong Trip”.Based on a variety of relevant evidences from re-search,it has found that “Qianzhong Trip”by Xu Ai is without historical basis.The mistake came from the time when Qian Dehong was compiling the book,Wang Yangming Chronicle.Mr.Qian erroneously combined the two stories together when Wang Yangming began to take on learning with Xi Shu in Guiyang in the fourth year of Masanori and when Xu Ai was talking on learning with Huang Wan and other scholars in Nanjing in the ninth year of Masanori,giving rise to the confusion and misunderstanding.Subjectively,the mistake came with some people’s sloppy reading without serious thinking and questioning,but solely based on what Qian Dehong was in-forming in the book.Hence,there came out the “Qianzhong Trip”by Xu Ai.The questioning and researching of Xu Ai’s trip to Qianzhong will help to clarify and correct the mistake existing for over 400 years in the history ofWang Yangming academic study,and can provide useful inspiration for Wang Yangming and Post -Yangming academic studies.
On the Variation of the Versions of Zhouyi Zhu Shu and Additional Remarks on Ruan＇s Version of Zhouyi Zheng Yi

Abstract:The combination in inscribing WANG Bi＇s Annotations and KONG Ying-da＇s further explanations of the Zhouyi started from the eight-line version of the Southern Song Tea Salt Department. Then,there also appeared ten-line versions. It was based on ten-line versions that RUAN Yuan＇s Chong kan shisan jin zhu shu （Re-inscribed Annotations and Further Explanations of the Thirteen Confucian Classics） was completed. Scholars had pointed out that ten-line versions were inscribed in the Yuan dynasty and revised in the Ming dynasty. However,we should clarity the transmission of different ten-line versions. The ten-line version on which RUAN Yuan＇s version was based was a version which contains most errors. By examining RUAN＇s re-inscription,we can find that the mistake occurred in the selection of the master copy but not in the inscribing works. Meanwhile,basing on the case of Zhouyi zheng yi （Rectification of the Meanings of the Zhouyi）,it can be seen that the relationship between the ten-line version and Min,Jian,and Mao＇s versions is not merely a successive transmission asserted by the past literati. As a matter of fact,Min＇s version was based on a nine-line version inscribed in the Yuan dynasty from which the revised ten-line version of the Ming dynasty was derived. In the multitude of versions of the Zhouyi zhu shu,the version of Wu yin dian （Hall of Martial Valor） and that of Si ku （Four Treasuries） are easily neglected,whereas these versions are characteristic both in the collation and division of volumes.

Abstract:There are a great many interpretation errors in The Research of the White Stone Statue in Qu Yang, in essence because of misunderstanding of the characters with similar forms, not understanding the combined graphs, not knowing variant characters and cultural words and so on.It is suggested that combined with historical documents and rubbings of excerption, errors can be corrected, the cause can be pointed out and the spreading of errors can be avoided so that the precious documentary materials can be utilized more scientifically.
