Abstract:The genus Hueikaeana Ingrisch, 1998 is reported for the first time from China with the species, H. alia Gorochov, 2004 and a new species, H. albopunctata Wang & Shi, sp. nov.. Abstract:Two new species, Tachytes spatiosus Li, Cai and Li from Zhejiang, China, and T. yunnanensis Li, Cai and Li from Yunnan, China, are described and illustrated. Five species are first recorded from China, T. ambidens Kohl, T. matronalis Dahlbom, T. freygessneri Kohl, T. celsissimus Turner, and T. monetarius Smith. A key to the Chinese species of the genus is provided.

Abstract:Xynotingis hoytana Drake, 1948 and Zeiratingis hainanensis sp. nov. are recorded from China (Hainan Island). Species of both genera are very rarely collected. This represents the first record of both genera in this country. The new species is described. Abstract:The genus Campyhxheta Rondani (Diptera, Tachinidae) of China was studied. Two new species, C. macubsa sp. nov. from Liaoning and C. latifrons sp. nov. from Ningxia, China are described, and C. abdominalis Shima, C. bisetosa Shima and C. hirticeps Shima are recognized as new records in China. A key to 8 Chinese species of Campylocheta is provided. The type specimens and other examined specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection, Shenyang Normal University (SNU).

Abstract:Three new species of Rhyacophila, Rhyacophila longiramata n. sp., Rhyacophila haplostephanodes n. sp., and Rhyacophila brevitergata n. sp., from the Dabie Mountains of east-central China, are described and illustrated. Rhyacophila longiramata n. sp. and R. haplostephanodes n. sp. both are highly specialized, which makes them very difficult to be put in any existing species group. Possible positions for these two species are discussed. Rhyacophila brevitergata n. sp. belongs to the R. nigrocephala Species Group. Rhyacophila spp. from Dabie Mountains are listed.

Abstract:In this study, 21 species of Hybos Meigen, 1803 are reviewed in Huaping National Nature Reserve, China. Among these, three species, i.e., Hybos denticulatus sp. nov. , Hybos forcipata sp. nov. and H. paraterminalis sp. nov. , are described as new to science. In addition, nine known species of this genus are reported for the first time in Guangxi. All the known species were enumerated, and an identification key to the species of Hybos from Huaping National Nature Reserve based on morphological characteristics is provided.

Abstract:During our studying of the fauna of Tibet, China, many specimens of the subfamily Tachininae ( Diptera , Tachinidae ) were collected and examined. Three species are described here as new to science, Leskia latisurstyla sp. nov. , Trichoformosomyia cuonaensis sp. nov. , and Tachina jilongensis sp. nov. , and two species, Nemoraea javana (Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1894) and N. echinata Mesnil, 1953, are newly recorded from Tibet. In addition to their descriptions, illustrations, and diagnoses, three identification keys are provided. The specimens in this study are kept in the Insect Collection of Shenyang Normal University, China ( SYNU ).

Abstract:In the paper,a new species and two new record species of the genus Psilopa Fallén(Diptera,Ephydridae) are described:P.wangi sp.nov.,P.marginella(Fallén,1823) and P.leucostoma(M eigen,1830).P.marginella and P.leucostoma distribute in Helan M ountain of Inner M ongolia in China.T he types are deposited in the Entomological M useum of China Agricultural University,Beijing.Psilopa wangi sp.nov.(Figs 1-5) T his new species is allied to P.marginella(Fallén,1823),but differs from the latter in the following points:1) face bare without microtomentum;2)antennae orange,but first lagellomere brownish black dorsally;3) wing hyaline except middle and basal portions of cell R2 +3,cell R4 +5 and cell Cu brownish yellow;4) foreleg black;mid and hind coxae,trochanter and femora black,tibiae and tarsomeres 1 4 yellow,tarsomere 5 dark brown.♂.Body length2.04mm,wing length2.25mm.Holotype ♂,Liaoning,Huanren,Laotu Dingzi Nature Reserve(41.32°N,124.87°E;alt.1058 m),24 July 2009,collected by W ANG Jun-Chao(CAU).Etymology.T he specific name is derived from the collector's last name"W ang".

Abstract:Wuyishan National Park is well known for its rich biodiversity. Previously, only five species of Hybos Meigen, 1803 were known to occur in this region. In this study, 27 species of the genus Hybos from Wuyishan National Park are reviewed based on comparative morphological characteristics. Among these, nine species are described as new to science: Hybosbrevidigitatussp. nov., Hybosconstractussp. nov., Hyboscurvitibiasp. nov., Hybosdazhulanussp. nov., Hybosfujianensissp. nov., Hybosleucopogussp. nov., Hyboslongidigitatussp. nov., Hybosmodificatussp. nov., and Hyboswuyishanussp. nov. Diagnoses, detailed descriptions, remarks, colored illustrations, distributions, and some of the female terminalia characteristics are provided for nine new species. In addition, 13 species of this genus are reported for the first time in Wuyishan National Park. A key to Hybos species from Wuyishan National Park is also given.
