The Following Up Value in Patients on Peritoneal Dialysis

Abstract:Objective:To approach the influence of Treatment Effectiveness on peritoneal dialysis by the three follow-up ways which clinic service、telephone and Family were united.To offer the new treat path for improving quality of life in patients on peritoneal dialysis.Methods:We apply the normalization follow-up way in 2008,so we select forty seven patients on peritoneal dialysis(PD) for control group during the period of 2007 to 2008 and forty nine patients on peritoneal dialysis(PD) for observation group during the period of 2008 to 2009 .Applying follow-up ways which clinic service、telephone and Family were united.follow-up period for one year .we record information in patients assessment quality of life after testing and measuring by SF-36 scale unit the the follow-up end.Results:After the follow-up for one year,the rehabilitation rate of observation group was obviously superer than that of control group.The compliance was improved obviously.the quality of life for observation group is more obviously improved than that of control group.especially improved more obviously for social function role-emotional and mental health .Peritonitis incidence rate and Re-Admission rate roups were decreased more obviously than that of control group.Conclusion:The rehabilitation rate of patients on peritoneal dialysis was improved By uniting the three follow-up ways reasonablely,incidence rate of Dialysis complication was decreased and quality of life was improved obviously.it is a feasible treat path.
