Abstract:The application and development of 1,3,5-tris[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine(PHT)were described. Three different synthetic routes which were summarized and compared were intro-duced systematically. Finally,the synthetic progress and development direction of PHT were pointed out.

Abstract:The application and productive situation of 3-methylpyridine are introduced briefly.Its synthesis methods studied at home and abroad are also reviewed.Thare are 12 sorts of methods in 5 classes,such as acrolein and ammonia method,aldehyde and ammonia method,triallylamine method,2-methylglutaronitrile method and pyridine methylation method.et al.Acrolein method and pyridine methylation method are described in detail.The critical point is the explore of efficient catalysts.

Abstract:The physical and chemical properties preparation methods of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone was briefly described.Its applications were reviewed,especially research hot spot and progress in the petrochemical industry at home and abroad,point out NMP is a good extraction solvent in the lube oil refining,butadiene extraction and other fields of extractive distillation.Meanwhile,the future development trend was predicted.

Abstract:3‐Methylpyridine holds a pivotal role in organic chemistry as it constitutes a fundamental structure in numerous biologically active compounds. Its significance is underscored by its involvement in synthesizing vitamin B3 and developing pyridine insecticides, garnering considerable attention. Consequently, chemists have dedicated efforts to devising efficient and environmentally friendly methods for its preparation. This review systematically reviews several synthetic routes to 3‐methylpyridine, alongside recent advancements, while summarizing its application progress in various organic transformations.

Abstract:chloro 5 methyl pyridine is an important intermediate for producing high efficient,low poisonous,low residual pesticides such as imidacloprid,acetamiprid,etc.The different technical routes of 2 chloro 5 methyl pyridine at home and abroad are considerably described,as well as their advantages and disadvantages.There are seven methods to synthesize 2 chlor methyl pyridine: such as oxidation of 3 methylpyridine,cyclocondensation of benzyl amine,diazotization,melting salt,cyclization,pyridone,one step chlorination of 3 methylpyridine.The problems existing in the synthesis of 2 chloro 5 methyl pyridine and solutions for it are put forward.Prospect of its developing tendency is also forecasted.

Abstract:Background. Pyridines are one of the most common heterocycles, the derivatives of which are widely used in pharmaceuticals, agrochemistry, and also in the production of new materials. Therefore, a comprehensive study of the chemical behavior of various pyridine derivatives will continue to be an urgent task of organic chemistry. This literature review is devoted to the systematization and analysis of the chemical properties of pyridine nitro derivatives, starting from the first half of the 20th century and up to the present. The paper considers both reactions proceeding through the nitro group (reduction under the action of various chemical agents, substitution, condensation) and reactions through the pyridine cycle. The main areas of application of nitropyridines are also shown. Purpose. Generalize and systematize the main types of reactions characteristic of nitropyridines, show the features of their chemical properties associated with the transformation of the nitro group, its effect on the mobility of substituents in the pyridine ring, as well as on the activity of the heterocycle as a whole. Materials and methods. To achieve the goal of the study, a review of the scientific literature was made on the main types of chemical reactions characteristic of pyridine nitro derivatives and the most significant areas of their application. Results. This paper summarizes the results of experimental studies on the chemical properties and application of nitropyridines from the beginning of the last century to the present. Conclusion. Thus, as a result of the analysis of sources devoted to the chemical properties and application of nitropyridines, a brief literature review was compiled, including the main types of reactions characteristic of the compounds under study, and their main areas of application were identified.

Abstract:Pyrazine is a kind of natural product which can be found in plants, animals, insects, marine organisms andmicroorganisms. The main function of pyrazine in living organisms is used as flavor of the raw foods. Pyrazine and its derivatives were also produced in industries mainly for fragrance, flavor and pharmaceutical applications. This review describes the historical development of pyrazine including the discovery and synthesis, to the recent synthetic approach of pyrazinium. In general, six synthetic approaches namely condensation reaction, ring closure, metal catalysis, green reaction, Maillard reaction and acid catalyst on N-substitution have been reviewed in this paper. The first five approaches are mainly aimed for the substitution at 2, 3, 5 and 6 positions in pyrazine ring, whereas the last approach is specifically for 1 and 4 positions in pyrazine. Abstract:In this paper,various syntheses of 2,3-dimethylpyrazine are reviewed,which raw materials includes from biacetyl and ethylene diamine,or from 2,3-butylene-glycol and ethylene diamine etc. Its application in medicine,pesticides, perfume and analytical chemistry also is described.Furthermore, we think the catalytic reaction in gas-solid phase is the superior developing trend and in this reaction,2,3-butylene-glycol should be replaced by cheap biacetyl.

Abstract:The market and production of acetaldehyde and its derivatives at home and abroad were introduced.The emphasis was on chemical properties,application,main production methods,market,and prospects of main deriva- tives of acetaldehyde such as ethyl acetate,pentaerythritol,glyoxal,peracetic acid,crotonaldehyde and pyridine.Some suggestions were given.It was considered that production of pentaerythritol,glyoxal,peracetic acid and crotonalde- hyde from acetaldehyde bad bright prospects of market at home and abroad.

Abstract:dihydro-5H-cyclopenta pyridine, which is an important material of synthesizing cefpirom, exhibits various biological activities, such as antiulcer and anticancer activity. According to different synthesis style, including the thermal rearrangement, catalytic dehydration and/or dehydrogenation, Friedlander condensation reaction, Grignard reaction, Diels-Alder reaction and cyclization of 1,5-dicarbonyl compounds, etc., the synthesis of 6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopentapyridine was reviewed for the first time in this paper. The synthetic methods, in which pyridine derivatives and 1,5-dicarbonyl compounds act as raw material, should be attended.
