Abstract:Consider the Dirichlet problem of nonlinear differential equations with the principal part the p-Laplacian. When the nonlinearity satisfies some semilinearity conditions, the usual nonuniform nonresonance conditions are obtained by comparing nonlinear equations with the classical eigenvalues. In this article, we will introduce some weighted eigenvalues. The nonuniform nonresonance conditions, proved in this article using weighted eigenvalues, will improve the usual ones significantly.

Abstract:This paper deals with a singular biharmonic equations with p -Laplacian and Hardy potential. Using Mountain Pass Theorem and Fountain Theorem with Cerami condition, we obtain the existence and multiplicity of sign-changing high-energy solutions under some suitable conditions on the nonlinear term f(x,u) . In addition, by applying an abstract critical point theorem of Kajikiya in [A critical point theorem related to the symmetric mountain pass lemma and its applications to elliptic equations. J Funct Anal. 2005;225(2):352–370], a sequence of sign-changing solutions converging to zero for the biharmonic equations with sublinear nonlinearities is also obtained.

Abstract:The existence of weak solution for p-Laplace problem is studied in the paper. By exploiting the relationship between the Nehari manifold and fibering maps and combining the compact imbedding theorem and the behavior of Palais-Smale sequences in the Nehari manifold, the existence of weak solutions is established. By means of the Arzela-Ascoli fixed point theorem, some existence results of the corresponding time-fractional equations of the p-Laplace problem are obtained.

Abstract:In this paper we consider problems modeled by the following nonlocal fractional equation where s∈(0,1) is fixed, Ω is an open bounded subset of Rn, n>2s, with Lipschitz boundary, (−Δ)s is the fractional Laplace operator and μ is a real parameter.Under two different types of conditions on the functions a and f, by using a famous critical point theorem in the presence of splitting established by Brezis and Nirenberg, we obtain the existence of at least two nontrivial weak solutions for our problem.
