Abstract:To meet the requirement of highly real-time, tremendous data transferring and complicated diagnostic causes of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis with power electronic equipment, a novel idea of distributed system with industrial PC (IPC) and PLC controlling field terminal is proposed in this paper. Based on the techniques of power electronics, fault diagnosis and network, a remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system with combination of a three-layer C/S structure and Internet is presented, which achieves with high compatibility between different equipment. Furthermore, the paper focuses on the discussion about the structure of compatible systems, the compatibility design of remote monitoring and the realization of field control equipment, such as the data collection sub-system, the real-time monitoring sub-system, the fault diagnosis sub-system and the data disposal and management sub-system, and the design of the data transferring sub-system and the communication protocol format.This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 50207008).

Abstract:Remote power-supply technology and its states and foreground in modern application on network communication facilities were introduced.A new surveillant block design strategy with high compatibility and modularized was proposed.The structure of remote power-supply system,the hardware design scheme and software strategy on power-management of the power-distribution manager were presented.Experimental results indicate that the new design improves the efficiency of surveillance on the facilities under control,and realizes power distribution with accuracy and intelligence.

Abstract:MDF remote intelligent supervisor system reduces administrators redundance and facilitates concentrating management of the distributed switching offices,which monitors malfunction of the remote office and transfers the messages to the center office. This system adopted ARM7TDMI-S3C44B0X as main processor produced by SAMSUNG Corp. The communication method between center machine and the remote one is based on Ethernet. The paper elaborates the system scheme and the realization of network communication.

Abstract:With the application and development of integrated substation automation technology,a lot of unattended substations are being put into operation one after another.Effective maintenance of these intelligent electronic devices,such as RTU and measuring and controlling units in integrated substation automation systems,is the foundation to ensure the normal operation of dispatching automation system.Here,a flexible and practicable remote maintenance scheme based on digital communication network,in which the communication technology used in dispatching automation and SCADA technology are utilized and many intelligent algorithms are integrated,is proposed.The proposed scheme can find,diagnose and process equipment failures in time and improve the operation reliability of power network dispatching automation system.

Abstract:To solve the difficulty in diagnosing and maintaining the engineering machine in working spots and enhance the rush repair and maintenance abilities,the architecture of the engineering machine remote diagnosis and maintenance system(EMRDMS) was built using lineate and wireless transmitting protocol of network technique together with virtual instrument technology and so on.Based on this architecture,the EMRDMS was developed whose function module consisted of data acquisition and maintenance terminal,a team of maintenance engineering vehicle,maintenance factory,manufacturing factory and so on.The realization of the EMRDMS comprised four modules: remote fault diagnosis module,visible module,info-query module and data maintenance module.The results show that the EMRDMS can remotely detect the working condition of engineering machines,and provide maintenance measures for the service team such as fault diagnosis,technique query and video maintenance,and that it can effectively enhance the rush repair and maintenance abilities of the engineering machine in working spots.

Abstract:Aiming at reducing maintenance costs of vehicle and improving safety in traffic,a kind of car remote maintenance system was presented,which transformed the way of car maintenance from timing or mileage maintenance to real-time maintenance.The system was made up of fault information acquisition terminal and server maintenance center.The acquisition terminal was an embedded system based on LPC2292 and ECOS,and the server maintenance center was integrated of communication server,database server and Web server.The results of practical test show that the system works highly stably and can be applied to varieties of vehicle types.For other remote monitoring system,the design can also be a reference.

Abstract:In order to improve the utilization of university computer labs,this paper has carried out analysis and design of computer lab maintenance system with object-oriented UML modeling technology.Taking the system as the studying subject,the analysis and design are on its demanding model and overall design model,including the steel use model diagram,the dynamic model,and the static model.The system model is realized by using the Rational Rose.The modeling brings convenience to the communication between clients,demand analyzing staff and developing staff,cuts down the workload of development and administration,and reduces the risk of software development.

Abstract:e-Maintenance plays an important role in e-Manufacturing environment for high-tech industries, such as data storage industry, to sharpen their competitive edge and to achieve the global leadership. To address such a need, this study proposes a generic architecture to take the advantage of Internet to realize remote maintenance and provide technical support for manufacturing equipments. A prototype system has been implemented to demonstrate the proof-of-concept, and applied to the remote maintenance of a spindle motor tester used in data storage industry. The system supports users of the local customer side, the supplier side and the maintenance host. It enables the supplier service experts to remotely diagnose and resolve equipment malfunction in real-time over Internet. By using the remote maintenance with such a technical support system, both equipment suppliers and customers can greatly benefit from the increased equipment performance and operation reliability.

Abstract:A software system based on C/S structure is developed for monitoringγ radiation around Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant. The key technology of the system is described and the man functions of the software, including data inputting, data storing, data processing and data displaying, are introduced in this article. It is demonstrated that such software system could derive real-time data from monitoring stations accurately and steadily. The software system can improve the management level and management efficiency of the Environmental Radiation Monitoring department.

Abstract:Aiming at the faults that the current electrical equipments maintenance and CAA system can not design experiment report or compatible heterogeneous database,this paper gives a software architecture with data abstraction and object oriented style connection with system style,on which an electrical equipments maintenance and CAA system is designed.The system,with FrontPage designing its experimental report, dynamically generates experiment report,builds database table,and adds entity domain object by using technologies of Hibernate,HtmlParser, XML.The system is compatible with heterogeneous database.A key code for system realization is given.

Abstract:An e-service based equipments maintenance system is put forward,together with the establishment of an equipment maintenance framework based on e-service.According to the framework,the correspondent enabling techniques,such as the information and events interaction and share under heterogeneous environments,the equipments performance degradation model based on the logistic regression model and support vector regression as well as the collaborating problems between different function nodes etc.,are explored deeply.Finally,a WEB based software is developed and successfully applied in production,which serves as a verification of the ideas mentioned above.

Abstract:Road transportation is one of the most important parts of logistics carry. In order to improve efficiency and quality of logistics carrying, it requires a rapid reaction capable of diagnosing and maintaining the remote carrying vehicles. This paper develops a network-based remote fault maintenance support system of logistics carrying vehicles. Some advanced techniques including embedded computer technique, wireless communication, network communication, and database technique are used to develop the remote fault diagnosis and maintenance system for logistic carrying vehicles. In this system, vehicles' conditions can be detected in time, and can be recorded by the center of remote maintenance support system via wireless communication. Automobiles can be remotely diagnosed and received maintenance. The efficiency and feasibility of reducing the time of fault diagnosis and maintenance, sharing the information resources, improving the availability and credibility of carrying vehicles, and reducing repair cost are proved in practical applications.

Abstract:Aiming at the difficulties in the maintenance of the flowmeters, a remote flowmeter maintenance system is designed. The system is composed of the field flowmeters with self-contained communication interface, wireless communication gateway and remote supervising compu- ter. The communication between field flowmeters is through RS485 bus, while the wireless communication gateway is connected to Internet through GPRS module of mobile phone for communicating with the remote supervisory computer. By this way, remote flowmeter maintenance is implemented. The system can also be improved to use for remote maintenance of other equipments.
