Design and Application of a Thermal Characteristic Test Platform for Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Abstract:A high-power, full-load domestic hydrogen fuel cell faces the thermal management challenges of temperature consistency and waste heat utilization. To obtain the thermal characteristics of a hydrogen fuel cell, a modular test platform was built, and application research was conducted to verify the functionality of the platform. The test platform included a cooling module, a thermal characteristic test module, a data acquisition module, and a control module. On the basis of monitoring the key temperature of thermal management and real-time analysis of the heat production, thermal imaging and thermocouple arrays were used to test and evaluate the temperature consistency, aiming to provide test methods and a data basis for the research of advanced thermal management technologies, such as waste heat utilization, and the improvement of temperature uniformity. This work is of great significance for promoting the energy saving and high efficiency of fuel cell vehicles.
