Abstract:Objective: To study the relationship between fire-blood stasis syndrome and coagulation factors in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods: 412 patients with primary hypertension, including low and middle risk group(124 cases) and high risk group(288 cases),157 patients with acute ischemic stroke, were assessed by TCM syndromes scores and examined the contents of coagulation factors prothrombintime(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT),fibrinogen(FIB).According to TCM syndromes scores, the patients were divided into fire-blood stasis syndrome group, fire syndrome group, blood stasis syndrome group and non fire-blood stasis syndrome group, then comparing with coagulation factors differences between groups. Results: There is a statistically difference in APTT of low and middle risk group compared with high risk group and high risk combined with acute ischemic stroke group. The value of APTT fire-blood stasis syndrome group of high risk combined with acute ischemic stroke patients is lower than fire-blood stasis syndrome group of the other two significantly. Conclusion: APTT is significantly lower in acute ischemic stroke patients, which indicates a relative high coagulation status, and may reflects the pathogenic characteristics of internal origined toxin.APTT may be one of biological indicators that from wind fire phlegm stasis to internal origined toxin.
