Application of Nifedipine in Postoperative Edema of Mixed Hemorrhoids

Abstract:Objective To study the effective therapy of dispelling the postoperative edema of mixed hemorrhoids.Methods Multi-center,open and comparative methods were adopted,patients with postoperative edema of mixed hemorrhoids were divided into three groups who accepted different treatments.In the study group,0.3% nifedipine liquor was used to make the local field wet,plus local massage around anus,meanwhile combined with traditional method(first fumigated,when temperature fallen to 41～42 ℃,anus was immerged in warm water for 10～15 minutes;the local field was irradiated with infrared ray for twice a day and 15 minutes each time).The first control group took traditional method,and the second control group took local massage around anus combined with traditional method.Results There was no significant difference in dispelling time of mild edema after the treatment in three groups(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the dispelling time of mid-heavy edema in study group was obviously shorter.Conclusion The traditional method combined with nifedipine and massage around anus was efficient to dispel mid-heavy degree postoperative edema of mixed hemorrhoids.
