On Foreign Language Learners' Ltrategy Training

Abstract:Developing foreign language learners'learning autonomy is gaining more concern nowadays in foreign language teaching.In this paper,the author discusses the issue of strategy training,the ultimate aim of which is to promote learner autonomy.The goals of strategy training are being discussed at the beginning,and then the content of strategy training which needs to be taught follows.The author also provides frameworks for the language teachers,and points out the important role teachers should play in strategy training process.It can be concluded that strategy training is of necessity,and teachers should train their students specific strategies in order to achieve autonomous learning in the course of FLL practice.
