Abstract:In this paper,the authors propose a new modified Ishikawa iteration scheme for two infinitely nonexpansive self-mappings in a uniformly convex Banach space E and establish a convergence theorem for this iteration.The result extends and improves the corresponding ones.

Abstract:Let E be a real Banach space with a uniformly Gteaux differentiable norm,D a nonempty closed convex subset of E and T:DD an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping with a sequence {kn}[1,∞),■kn=1.It is shown that under some suitable conditions,the modified viscosity iteration sequence {xn} converges strongly to a fixed point of T.

Abstract:A new Ishikawa iteration scheme is proposed for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of two infinitely nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert space. A weak convergence theorem is established for this iteration.

Abstract:Let E be a real Banach space and let D be a nonempty closed convex subset of E , let be a continuous weak generalized φ -hemicontractive mapping. The existence theorem of a fixed point of a weak generalized φ -pseudocontractive mapping is obtained. And we also prove that implicit Mann and Ishikawa iterations converge strongly to the unique fixed point of T . Abstract:A extension of Nakajo and Takahashi's modification of Mann's iterative process to the Ishikawa iterative process is given. The strong convergence of a modified Ishikawa iterative scheme to a common fixed point of a finite family of Lipschitz pseudocontractive self-mappings on a closed convex subset of a Hilbert space is proved. Our theorem extends several known results.
