Abstract:Objective To learn the awareness rate of hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and control knowledge among different populations in Bozhou,and provide reference for health education.Method The subjects were selected randomly,and were investigated using self-completed questionnaire or the phone.Results The awareness rate on the most common presenting symptom of Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease was 96%.83.5% subjects believed that daily contact can spread this disease,69.0% believed that it could be infected through respiratory tract.96% subjects acquired related knowledge through television,and 74.5% acquired related knowledge through newspapers,only 10.5% acquired related knowledge through 12320 Public Health Commonweal Hot-line.Conclusion The awareness rates of transmission routes of hand-foot-mouth disease were poor.TV medium was the main way to obtain the related information.We should spread the knowledge and information on hand-foot-mouth disease timely through various channels and straightaway style.
