A pilot biological treatment system applied to the treatment of tail water from the pharmaceutical industriall park

Abstract:The tail water is characterized by complicated components,big variety of organisms,broad fluctuation of water quality,high COD,low BOD5/COD,and high toxicity.The combined process of hydrolysis acidification+UASB+MBBR+coagulation precipitation has been used for treating this kind of mixed tail water.The results show that after being treated by this process,the effluent COD,BOD5 and chroma could be below 150 mg/L,20 mg/L and 20 times,respectively.It is concluded that this combined biological treatment process is applicable to the treatment of the mixed tail water in the pharmaceutical industrial park.
