Abstract:The title compound, [Ni(NCS)(C6H6N4S2)(CH4O)]Cl, consists of an Ni-II complex cation and a Cl- anion. The Ni-II complex has an octahedral coordination, with the isothiocyanate and methanol ligands in cis positions. The diaminobithiazole ligands are each nearly planar, but the Ni-II atom is out of the planes of the thiazole rings, the deviations ranging from 0.113 (5) to 0.389 (4) Angstrom.

Abstract:The title compound, [Ni-II(H2O)(6)][Ni-II(C4H4O4S)(2)]center dot 4H(2)O, consists of [Ni-II(H2O)(6)](2+) complex dications, [Ni-II(C4H4O4S)(2)](2-) complex dianions and non-coordinated water molecules. In the complex dianion, two thiodiacetate dianions coordinate to the Ni-II ion in a fac-SO2-tridentate chelating mode, resulting in a distorted octahedral trans-NiO4S2 coordination geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by an extensive O - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bonding network.

Abstract:The Ni-II atom in the crystal structure of the title compound, [NiCl2(C6H6N4S2)(2)].2H(2)O, has a distorted cis-octahedral coordination, formed by two Cl atoms [Ni-Cl 2.4767 (17) and 2.4922 (17) Angstrom] and four N atoms of two chelate bithiazole ligands [Ni-N 2.069 (5)-2.138 (5) Angstrom]. The overlapped arrangement and short separation between parallel thiazole rings belonging to neighbouring complexes [3.47 (3) Angstrom] suggest the existence of pi-pi stacking interactions. Short intermolecular S...S contacts [3.183 (3) Angstrom] are also observed. The water molecules are involved in hydrogen bonds with the Cl ligands.

Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title NiII complex, [Ni(C6H4NO3)2(C3H4N2)2], the NiII atom is located on a twofold rotation axis and is chelated by two oxidopyridiniumcarboxylate anions and further cis-coordinated by two imidazole ligands in a distorted cis-N2O4 octahedral geometry. The C—O bond distance of 1.2573 (19) Å found for the non-coordinating O atom of the carboxylate group indicates significant delocalization of π-electron density over this residue. Similarly, the C—O bond distance of 1.260 (2) Å in the heteroaromatic ring indicates delocalization between the deprotonated hydroxy group and the pyridinium ring. The uncoordinated carboxylate O atom links with the imidazole and pyridinium rings of adjacent molecules via N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonding, leading to a two-dimensional array parallel to (100).

Abstract:The title compound, [Ni(2)(C(7)H(5)O(3))(4)(C(7)H(6)N(2))(4)][Ni(C(7)H(5)O(3))(2)(C(7)H(6)N(2))(2)]·6H(2)O, is a mononuclear/dinuclear nickel(II) cocrystal, the two mol-ecular species inter-acting through hydrogen bonds that involve the uncoordinated water mol-ecules. In the mononuclear species, the Ni(II) ion, located on an inversion center, is coordinated by two 1H-benzimidazole (bzim) ligands and two 3-hydroxy-benzoate (hba) anions in a square-planar geometry. In the centrosymmetric dinuclear species, the Ni(II) ion is coordinated by two bzim ligands and three hba anions in a square-pyramidal geometry; of the two independent hba anions, one bridges two Ni(II) ions with both carboxylate and hydroxyl groups whereas the other coordin-ates in a unidentate manner to the Ni(II) ion. The apical Ni-O(hydrox-yl) bond is 0.39 Å longer than the basal Ni-O(carbox-yl) bonds. The face-to-face separation of 3.326 (9) Å indicates the existence of π-π stacking between parallel bzim ligands of adjacent dinuclear entities. Extensive N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds help to stabilize the crystal structure.

Abstract:The title complex, [Ni(C6H6N4S2)(C3H2O4)(H2O)(2)], has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry with the malonate dianion and diaminobithiazole chelating to the Ni-II atom in the equatorial plane, and two water molecules in the axial positions. Both the malonate and diaminobithiazole are planar, and are tilted out of the equatorial plane, with dihedral angles of 9.87 (5) and 11.65 (5)degrees, respectively.

One NiII ion is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by six imidazole molecules, while the other NiII ion is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by three water molecules and three imidazole molecules in a mer-NiN3O3 arrangement. Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Na4Ni(C8H3O7S)(2)(H2O)(12)](n), the Ni-II cation occupies an inversion centre and is coordinated by the carboxyl groups of the sulfoisophthalate trianions and water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. Two independent Na-I atoms are connected by the carboxyl and sulfonate groups of the sulfoisophthalate ligands anions and water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The sulfoisophthalate ligands and coordinated water molecules bridge the Ni-II and Na-I cations, forming a three-dimensional polymeric structure. Weak pi-pi stacking is present between parallel benzene rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.9349 ( 10) A]. Extensive O-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding helps to stabilize the crystal structure.

Abstract:In the molecule of the title compound, [Ni(C5H4NO3S)(2)-( H2O)(4)], the Ni (II) cation is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by four water molecules and two pyridine-3sulfonate anions with an NiN2O4 distorted octahedral geometry. The face-to-face separation of 3.561( 5) angstrom between parallel pyridine rings indicates the existence of weak pi - pi stacking between the pyridine rings. The structure also contains intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding and weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding.
