Chemical Constituents from the Nearly Ripe Fruits of Evodia Rutaecarpa (juss.) Benth.

Abstract:Sixteen compounds were isolated from the dried nearly ripe fruits of Evodia rutaecarpa(Juss.) Benth..On the basis of spectroscopic data and physicochemical properties,their structures were elucidated as rutaecarpine(1),evodiamine(2),dehydroevodiamine(3),7 β-hydroxyrutaecarpine(4),goshuyuamide-Ⅱ(5),14-formyldihydrorutaecarpine(6),isorhamnetin-3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside(7),epimedoside C(8),hesperidin(9),hyperoside(10),limonin(11),β-sitosterol(12),daucosterol(13),caffeic acid(14),syringin(15),catechol(16).Compounds 9、15、16 were isolated from the title plant for the first time,and compounds 15、16 were isolated from the genus Evodia for the first time.
