When our result is applied to a delayed predator–prey system with nonmonotonic functional response and stocking, we establish the sufficient condition for the existence of multiple positive periodic solutions for the system.

Abstract:In this paper, a discrete periodic predator–prey system with type IV functional responses and time delay is investigated. Using Gaines and Mawhin’s continuation theorem from coincidence degree theory as well as some prior estimates, we get sufficient conditions for the existence of positive periodic solutions of the system. This is also the first time that the coincidence degree theory has been used to obtain multiple positive periodic solutions in discrete ecological systems.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with a predator–prey model with Hassell–Varley type functional response, non-selective harvesting and multiple delays. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions by applying the coincidence degree theorem. In addition, the results are delay-dependent, which is different from the previous work. Finally, simulations illustrate the effectiveness of our results.

Abstract:Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of periodic positive solution of the neutral impulsive delay predator–prey system. This is the first time that positive solution for impulsive delay predator–prey system is obtained by using the theory of coincidence degree. Our results in this paper indicate that under the appropriate linear periodic impulsive perturbations, the neutral impulsive delay predator–prey system preserves the original periodicity of the neutral nonimpulsive delay predator–prey system.

Abstract:This paper investigates the existence of multiple periodic solutions for impulsive Gause-type ratio-dependent predator–prey systems with non-monotonic numerical responses and time delays. Abstract:In this paper, a nonautonomous almost periodic prey-predator system with impulsive effects and multiple delays is considered. By the mean-value theorem of multiple variables, integral inequalities, differential inequalities, and other mathematical analysis skills, sufficient conditions which guarantee the permanence of the system are obtained. Furthermore, by constructing a series of Lyapunov functionals, we derive that there exists a unique almost periodic solution of the system which is uniformly asymptotically stable. Finally, a numerical example and some simulations are presented to support our theoretical results.
