Abstract:In this paper, we establish a nonautonomous predator-prey systems with functional response, and study the existence of positive periodic solutions of the systems by the continuation theorem of the coincidence degree theory. A set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions. The main result is verified by numerical simulation.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with a predator–prey model with Hassell–Varley type functional response, non-selective harvesting and multiple delays. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions by applying the coincidence degree theorem. In addition, the results are delay-dependent, which is different from the previous work. Finally, simulations illustrate the effectiveness of our results.

Abstract:In this paper, a non-autonomous predator-prey patchy system with Bedding-type functional response and time delay is investigated. It is shown that the system is permanent under some appropriate conditions. Abstract:In this paper, the existence of a periodic solution and the permanence of a periodic Watt-type predator–prey system where the prey disperses in patchy environment with two patches are investigated. With the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we obtain the existence of a positive periodic solution for such a system. We assume the Watt-type functional response within-patch dynamics and provide a sufficient condition to guarantee the predator and prey species to be permanent. Furthermore, we give numerical analysis to confirm our theoretical results. It will be useful to ecosystem control.

Abstract:An impulsive reaction-diffusion periodic predator-prey system with ratio-dependent functional response is investigated in the present paper. Sufficient conditions for the ultimate boundedness and permanence of the predator-prey system are established based on the upper and lower solution method and comparison theory of differential equation. By constructing appropriate auxiliary function, the conditions for the existence of a unique globally stable positive periodic solution are also obtained. Some numerical examples are presented to verify our results. A discussion is given in the end of the paper.

Abstract:In this paper, a nonautonomous almost periodic prey-predator system with impulsive effects and multiple delays is considered. By the mean-value theorem of multiple variables, integral inequalities, differential inequalities, and other mathematical analysis skills, sufficient conditions which guarantee the permanence of the system are obtained. Furthermore, by constructing a series of Lyapunov functionals, we derive that there exists a unique almost periodic solution of the system which is uniformly asymptotically stable. Finally, a numerical example and some simulations are presented to support our theoretical results.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a stochastic predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response and impulsive perturbations. First, we prove that the model admits a unique global positive solution by constructing the equivalent system without impulsive perturbations. Second, we establish a sufficient condition which allows the existence of a positive periodic solution using stochastic Lyapunov functions. Finally, for the predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response disturbed by both white noise and telephone noise, we give the sufficient conditions for the stationary distribution which is ergodic and positive recurrent of the solution. The conclusion implies that the stochastic system has a positive T-periodic Markov process in a certain condition when the corresponding deterministic system has at least one positive T-periodic solution.

Abstract:A class of Holling type II predator-prey systems with mutual interference and impulses is presented. Sufficient conditions for the permanence, extinction, and global attractivity of system are obtained. The existence and uniqueness of positive periodic solution are also established. Numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the theoretical results. Meanwhile, they indicate that dynamics of species are very sensitive with the period matching between species' intrinsic disciplinarians and the perturbations from the variable environment. If the periods between individual growth and impulse perturbations match well, then the dynamics of species periodically change. If they mismatch each other, the dynamics differ from period to period until there is chaos.
