Abstract:In this paper,the solid model of elevator main shaft is established by using Pro/E software.The former 6 ranks of natural frequencies and principal shapes are calculated by using program ANSYS.The results of analyzing indicate the main shaft device of elevator’s dynamic performance and vibration in reality.

Abstract:A more accurate vertical dynamic model with nine degree-of-freedom (DOF) is proposed for better describing the vertical dynamics of high-speed elevator system. By developing a calculation program according to the proposed dynamic model, the dynamics behavior of a 2:1 high-speed roping elevator with rise over 24 meters is numerically calculated in empty load and full load cases at three landing positions: bottom, middle, and top floors. Under the test conditions identical with the simulation but without full load case, modal experiment is applied to an elevator having the same specifications as simulated one. The proposed model is confirmed by comparing numerical and experimental results, and both results indicate that the vertical dynamic characteristics of high-speed elevator are time variant. It is also presented that the low order frequency of high-speed elevator is not sensitive to the variation of hoist rope length but greatly influenced by passenger load.

Abstract:Horizontal vibration has critical influence upon elevators' ride quality. Based on the wave theory of one-dimensional string vibration, a horizontal vibration wave model is built to simulate the dynamic performance of a high speed elevator system. Through coordinate transformation, Galerkin's method is used to discretize the governing partial differential equations into a dumped-mass system, which can be solved effectively with classic methods. Numerical results show that the horizontal vibration behaviors are closely interconnected with the location, velocity and acceleration of elevator cab.

Abstract:Guide rollers installed on high-speed traction elevator to make it run steadily have nonlinear rate-dependent characteristic, which induces the elevator vibration when it is stimulated by the roller roundness tolerance and the guide rail irregularity. According to the Kalker’s simplified theory of three-dimensional Hertzian rolling contact, the contact model of guide roller-rail is set up and the expressions of the contact stiffness in three directions are derived to calculate the normal Hertzian force and the tangential creep force. The irregularity excitation between guide roller and rail is fitted by taking the roller roundness tolerance and the rail profile irregularity into account. The system dynamic equations of high-speed traction elevator are constructed. Using Newmark method, the vibration behavior of a high-speed traction elevator is analyzed. Compared with the practical measurement results both in time and frequency domain, the calculated results are in good agreement, which means that the system dynamic model of high-speed traction elevator based on guide roller-rail contact model is valid. Therefore the proposed model can be used to predict the vibration response of high-speed traction elevator.

Abstract:The static analysis and the modal analysis of a tower crane’s whole structure were completed with finite element analysis(FEA)software ANSYS.Meanwhile,the modeling methods,skills and noticed problems were discussed.Based on the results of static analysis which were validated by the experimental results,structure’s distribution of stress was obtained.Combining with the condition of the tower crane,the first six mode frequencies and mode shapes were analyzed.

Abstract:Modal analysis is a technology for vibration characteristic research. It is the foundation for structural dynamics analysis. Natural frequency is a very important performance in dynamics analysis. Modal characteristics of the Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) for ropeless elevator were investigated by finite element method (FEM). FEM models for modal analysis were built for the primary winding, iron core, fixed block, secondary back iron and permanent block by appropriate structure simplification. The influences on natural frequencies of the PMLSM were analyzed. Natural frequencies and mode shapes were simulated by FEM. The accuracy of the FEM analysis is validated by the modal analysis experiment of hammering method.

Abstract:A time-varying element model of hoist cable-car system was proposed to investigate the vibration of high-speed traction elevator due to the time-varying feature of hoist cable.The system was modeled as a moving elastic string with a mass-spring-damper part attached at the bottom representing the elevator car.The horizontal nonlinear dynamic equation with parametric excitation for high-speed traction elevator was derived according to the Lagrange method.The nonlinear horizontal vibration response of high-speed traction elevator was calculated based on the precise integration method utilizing the 5th order polynomial fitted movement profile as the input.Results show that the time-varying element model and its solving method are effective in revealing the nonlinear time-varying characteristics of traction elevator,and the inherent unstable shortening cable behavior encountered in traction elevator system is explained in theory.

Abstract:Structural dynamic responses imposed by large base excitation and the effectiveness of an intermediate constraint in elevator counterweight systems are studied. A nonlinear contact finite element with nonlinear stiffness and amping approximated by polynomial functions is developed to simulate the dynamic contacts in elevator counterweight systems. A passive vibration control device—intermediate constraint—is proposed and evaluated. Analysis results show that the number of consecutive contacts increases as the excitation frequency decreases; large contact force can occur in current design practice, and constraining the motions of two rails by intermediate ties can reduce the contact load by 40%.

Abstract:In this paper,the finite element method has been used to compute the critical rotatinal speed and model analysis of the agitating shaft.The finite element model of the system equation has been established by analysing the stirring axis.A particle model has been used to compute the critical speed of agitating shaft and compared the results with the axis rotation speed in the normal work.The results showed that the speed is far away from its first order critical speed,agitating shaft operates smoothly with small vibration amplitude.The strength of impeller hubs and structure of reinforcing plates have a greater impact on the strength of the blades.

Abstract:The frame of 4MPa vertical type high-pressure grouting machine is used as the research object. The finite element analysis software ANSYS is applied to the modal finite element analysis of the frame. The first five order natural frequencies and the corresponding vibration modes of the frame are obtained, and then the influence of every mode shape on the performances of the frame was discussed. It provides a reference for the dynamic structural design and optimization of the frame of vertical type high-pressure grouting machine.

Abstract:In order to ensure the smooth performance of overhead hoist in motion,Using ANSYS10.0,the static analysis of track beam structure has been finished and the distribution of stress and deformation have been calculated.The results of analysis shows that deformation of track beam is related to position hoist on track beam and the track beam can arrive at the demand of intensity and rigidity.The feasibility of design scheme was proved.

FEM models for modal analysis were built for the stator winding, shell, end shield, rotor and shaft by appropriate structure simplification. The influences on natural frequencies of the motor were analyzed. Natural frequencies and mode shapes were simulated by FEM. Abstract:As the upper frame is an essential supporting structure of Hydraulic Excavator, dynamic characteristics of the structure are particularly important. The finite element model of the upper frame is established by the finite element analysis software, and then modal analysis is carried out in absolute freeness. The former fifteen modes are adopted to review its inherent frequencies and vibration modes seriously, and the dynamic characteristics of the frame are clear. Analysis result indicates that there are some weak links in the structure, and suggestions of modification are put forward for the further structure improvement.

Abstract:The finite element entity model of main frame which is the key part of a kind of fuel batteries engine is founded in this paper.Where after,the statics analysis of the model is made which based on FEM.So,all of the model nodes' deform and stress are got which the entity model is under a certain static load.On this basis,the modal analysis is made via block-Lanczos method,the engine main frame's lower orders natural frequencies,modes of vibration and animations of relevant modes of vibration are realizing confirmed.All of these results not only satisfy the needs of engineering but also provide the theory basis for the optimal design of structure and dynamic analysis of the engine.

Abstract:In order to study the dynamic characteristics of the elevator, the response characteristics of the elevator under normal operation and emergency braking conditions are analyzed. In this paper, the centralized mass discretization model is used to study the vibration characteristics of the elevator traction system under the external excitation. Firstly, the vibration equation of the elevator multi-degrees-of-freedom (abbreviated as DOF) system is established. Then, the vibration characteristics of the three DOF system are analyzed, and the natural frequencies and modes are obtained. The free vibration equation and forced vibration equation are obtained, and the theoretical solutions are obtained. Finally, the test method proposed in this paper is used to test the normal operation and emergency braking of the elevator. The test results show that, under normal operation conditions, the measured speed and distance errors are not more than 4.2%, the up running distance measured by the elevator is larger than the actual value, while the down running distance is smaller than the actual value; under emergency braking condition, because the steel wire rope can only bear the pulling force, the peak acceleration fluctuation in the up emergency braking process is large, while the down emergency braking acceleration fluctuation is small. Therefore, the elevator vibration analysis model and the vibration test method proposed in this paper can be used for the analysis of elevator dynamic performance, which has great reference value for the safety performance research of the elevator traction system.

Abstract:This paper presents a vertical vibration model for 2:1-roping traction elevator system. In this model, masses of suspension ropes are considered and their kinetic energy is calculated by applying Rayleigh method. Equations of motion for free vibration are derived. To verify the improvement of the model, an output dependent only modal test scheme using eigenvalue realization algorithm is conducted to obtain natural frequencies from a real elevator installation. The comparison of experimental results and numerical results of proposed model and previous similar models is presented on calculation of natural frequencies. The results show that proposed model is able to reflect the 5th natural frequencies more exactly under 0 % and 100 % load conditions.

Abstract:The shaft as an important parts of automobile transmission system, in the process of the car have the effect of rotational speed and torque. Due to the structural characteristics of its low frequency, small stiffness, universal joint, such as the existence of the additional moment drive shaft inevitably exist when high speed vibration phenomenon. So the shaft vibration problems to deal with the vehicle ride comfort, comfort and dynamic performance has important significance. On the basis of the finite element software ANSYS, the physical design of drive shaft. Analyzes the mapping grid finite element model of transmission shaft, facilitate accurate transmission shaft strength calculation. Based on the inherent frequency and vibration model of finite element method to calculate transmission shaft, using experimental modal technology for modal analysis of the shaft, the test results verify the reliability of the finite element model. On this basis, the drive shaft assembly constraint modal finite element analysis, can be used as the basis of further research.
