Qualitative study on evaluation standard of admission and discharge in neurosurgical rehabilitation nursing beds

Abstract:Objective To understand the attitudes and advices on neurosurgical patients who need to be transferred to rehabilitation nursing beds and the evaluation standard of admission and discharge by 7 neurosurgical experts,2 nursing experts and 1 rehabilitation expert.Methods Semi-structured interviews were used with the afore mentioned experts.Content of the interview consisted of diseases need to be transferred to the neurosurgical rehabilitation nursing beds,the evaluation standard of admission and discharge and the suggestion of implementing the standard successfully.Results Neurosurgical rehabilitation nursing beds would be beneficial to both patients and hospital.Standard of admission and discharge should be made considering the primary disease,treatment plan and condition of neurological function.Conclusion It′s necessary to set up neurosurgical rehabilitation nursing beds.Standard of admission and discharge is important for rational use of the beds.
