Abstract:According to the application of the computer technology in the laboratory management,combined with the present situation of computer technology,the opening laboratory information management system is developed.This system exercises information and computer management technology to implement experiment teaching management,announce experiments subjects opened on net,realize the form of appointed selecting class.According to practical situation,the students appoint experiment time,brush card for recording time of arrival and leave.According to the experiment accomplishment of each student,the teachers give him(or her) a mark,and place the documents on file for inquiry,the dynamic and opening management of experiment teaching are implemented.This system is applied to experiment teaching in Electrical Engineering College of Zhejiang University successfully.

Abstract:The library in the institutions of higher learning is the special stack room to collect literature of its own.It is of great significance to show the result of running school,to keep up complete data and to form a characteristic collection.By taking University of Zhejiang Science and Technology(ZUST)as an example,we analyze the existing problems in the library construction of the newly-built institutions of higher learning and define the scope of the library collection.Thus several methods are advanced to strengthen both its direction and initiative to turn the data base resources into the school's special collection resources as well as to grasp the timing node to collect library materials.

Abstract:Based on the study of the MARC21 format for holdings data and the application of Unicorn system in Peking University Library,this article focuses on the practice of retrospective establishment of the serials' MARC holdings.It discusses the methods of using the fields and subfields of 852,866 to solve problems such as one periodical holding at different locations,as well as developing MARC Holding record created by Unicorn serial control.It also introduces some relative practice of other libraries.

Abstract:Book checking work is one of the important parts of library collection construction. Combined with actual situation of our library, this paper designs a book checking plan: use the collector batch collects data, and use the Excel spreadsheet tools to analyze data. Sampling checked the part of the collection, to explore simple and feasible method and way for books overall inventory work. At the same time, found the defect in the process of the library management from the analysis of book checking result, and service of detailed improving methods.

Abstract:Using h-index as a reference to study reader's reading tendency,and the data of books in circulation as samples,this paper calculates the h indexes of different sorts of books,and based on the indexes obtained to make a research on the readers' reading tendency. The outcome of the research shows that the application of h- index method is of great use in analyzing and assessing the distributions and values of books of different subjects,thus it can provide a theoretical basis for the optimization of the information collection of libraries.

Abstract:Purpose This paper proposes a systematic method to manage students to use limited seat resources in Chinese university libraries, with the aid of mobile phone app, at the same time, its use is being investigated. Design/methodology/approach Use mixed research methods, quantitative and qualitative research. Through observation, questionnaire and interview to achieve research purpose. The survey was conducted in the library of Nanjing agricultural university. Findings The result shows system can offer convenient, accurate, more personalized, mobility service to each user. Actual average seat usage rate is over 51.7% in a day, most of users are satisfied with the seat management system, students' satisfaction degree are 94.8%. It is also an extension of mobile phone library service. Originality/value Seat management system innovate traditional people-oriented service mode of study room into smart, readers can browse usage information of seats anytime and anywhere, get what they want, service become fast and convenient. In period of COVID-19, the seat system also plays an important role, it is easy for librarians to control the number of students to enter, the trajectory of readers in the library can be tracked and the possible epidemic risk can be accurately prevented and controlled.
