Abstract:The emergence of the importance of intergenerational ethics is accompanied with the occurrence of issues of ecological civilization construction and sustainable development.Ecological civilization construction implies comprehensive development of the whole society.Intergenerational equity is a basic social condition for constructing ecological civilization and realizing sustainable development.The main contents of realizing intergenerational equity in ecological civilization include the realization of the intergenerational parity between working expenditure and achievements acquisition to realize intergenerational continuation of controllability of the natural impact from human activity in the course of economic and social development,and to actualize the continuation of multifarious cultures.With an angle of view of human social development,contradictions between natural resources,environment and development have a more universal meaning to the realization of the intergenerational equity of ecological civilization.The establishment of green consumption patterns has a fundamental value-oriented effect on the construction of ecological civilization and building of a socialist harmonious society.
