Resource Allocation and Operation Management of Blood Transfusion Department in Hospitals—— Based on the Empirical Data of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

Abstract:Objectives To analyze the status of resources construction and operation management of blood transfusion department in hospitals of Guangxi province,and to provide evidence and recommendations for enhancing the security of clinical blood transfusion.Methods Information was collected using a self-administered questionnaire.Of the total 109 hospitals selected in Guangxi province,23 were tertiary hospitals(17 were grade A and 6 were grade B),86 were secondary hospitals(70 were grade A and 16 were grade B).Results The majority of staff in blood transfusion department was 31～40 years old,had a junior college degree.The staff who had a master degree or above were lacked.The major of the staff were testing,and the tiles were mid-level mostly.More than 10% of the staff had not received professional training.With respect to 4 parts operations management evaluation,the average score of tertiary hospitals were higher than that of secondary hospitals,and developed areas were higher than less developed areas(except for the score of organization and management field).Conclusions The discordant relationship between staff and resource allocation should be improved,to promote the internal organizational structure and management.In addition,the management of blood transfusion department can be improved through external so as to promote the enthusiasm of staff for work.
