Establishment and Application of Statistics Verifying Model of Water Quality Monitoring Data in Networks and a Case Study in China

Abstract:The stability and security of water quality is one of the key focuses on water supply department in China recently, especially in the Taihu Lake Basin cities. Suzhou City is one of the major cities in Taihu Lake Basin. Since 2007, after the outbreak of blue algae in Taihu Lake, Suzhou enhanced water quality monitoring and early warning systems research and application. In order to obtain accurate data for water quality analysis in water supply networks, four kinds of statistics mathematic verifying models were established, meanwhile their principles and formulas were introduced in this paper. Then the models were compared each other, the virtue and defect were shown as wel1. The second part of this paper is the case study on the above study. We chose water supply networks in one residential area in Suzhou as our study object, and set ten water quality monitoring points in the networks, monitoring ten water quality indicators(water temperature, color, turbidity, smell and taste, visible objects, pH, oxygen consumption, chlorine, ammonia, total number of bacteria, the total number of coli form, thermo tolerant coli forms. ) about two years. Then we applied these large number of water quality monitoring data to the mathematical model and analysis. Experiment showed that the unwonted data in water quality analysis could be distinguished through calculation and analysis, which proves that these four models are impersonal and scientific.
