Abstract:The incomplete and late information always affects the product design process.This paper reforms the existing knowledge representation and reasoning with the product potential model and uses the Petri net to manage the design process,thus making the overall design process more intelligent and more active in the process of dealing with the extended information.Finally,it uses the instance involved in a design project to verify that the product potential model which uses the Petri net can meet the complex needs of the product design process.
