Abstract:For the sake of making this kind of useful quantum information resource of quantum entanglement.Here we propose a new prepare process on the foundation of the cavity quantum electrodynamics technique project of the resonance interaction,put forward a kind of making process that atom entangled state.Made to prepare two typical quantum entangled states in cavity QED: GHZ and W states of atoms,which belong to inequivalent classes of entangled states.GHZ state is maximally entangled state,while W states are non-maximally entangled states.They hold many interesting applications in quantum information processing and high-precision measurements.Therefore it is expected to be implemented with the current cavity QED experimental technology.

Abstract:We propose a scheme to prepare the Bell states for atomic qubits trapped in separate optical cavities via atom-cavity-laser interaction. The quantum information of each qubit is encoded on the degenerate ground states of the atom, so the entanglement between them is relatively stable against spontaneous emission. The proposed scheme consists of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) with two arms, and each arm contains a cavity with an N-type atom in it. It requires two classical fields and a single-photon source. By controlling the sequence and time of atom-cavity-laser interaction, the deterministic production of the atomic Bell states is shown. We also introduce the generalization of the present scheme to generate the 2N-atom Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state.
Dissipative Preparation of Steady Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger States for Rydberg Atoms with Quantum Zeno Dynamics

Abstract:Inspired by a recent work [F. Reiter, D. Reeb, and A. S. Sorensen, Phys. Rev. Lett. 117, 040501 (2016)], we present a simplified proposal for dissipatively preparing a Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state of three Rydberg atoms in a cavity. The Z pumping is implemented under the action of the spontaneous emission of Lambda-type atoms and the quantum Zeno dynamics induced by strong continuous coupling. In the meantime, a dissipative Rydberg pumping breaks up the stability of the state vertical bar GHZ(+)> in the process of Z pumping, making vertical bar GHZ(-)> the unique steady state of the system. Compared with the former scheme, the number of driving fields acting on atoms is greatly reduced and only a single-mode cavity is required. The numerical simulation of the full master equation reveals that a high fidelity similar to 98% can be obtained with the currently achievable parameters in the Rydberg-atom-cavity system.

Abstract:A scheme is presented for preparing multi-atom entangled states based on the Raman atom-cavity-fieId interaction. After several degenerate Lambda-type three-level atoms interact with an appropriately prepared single-mode cavity field through Raman coupling. a two-level atom. resonant with the cavity, is sent through the cavity and a Ramsey zone. The detection of the two-level atom leaves the Lambda-type atoms in an entangled state.

Abstract:Here we present a quantum electrodynamics (QED) model involving a large-detuned single-mode cavity field and $n$ identical two-level atoms. One of its applications for the preparation of the multi-particle states is analyzed. In addition to the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state, the W class states can also be generated in this scheme. The further analysis for the experiment of the model of $n=2$ case is also presented by considering the possible three-atom collision.

Abstract:The Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state is a key resource for quantum information processing and quantum metrology. The atomic GHZ state can be generated by one-axis twisting (OAT) interaction $H_{\mathrm{OAT}}=\chi J_{z}^{2}$ with $\chi $ the interaction strength, but it requires a long evolution time $\chi t=\pi /2$ and is thus seriously influenced by decoherence and losses. Here we propose a three-body collective-spin XYZ model which creates a GHZ-like state in a very short timescale $\chi t\sim \ln {N}/N$ for $N$ particles. We show that this model can be effectively produced by applying Floquet driving to an original OAT Hamiltonian. Compared with the ideal GHZ state, the GHZ-like state generated using our model can maintain similar metrological properties reaching the Heisenberg-limited scaling, and it shows better robustness to decoherence and particle losses. This work opens the avenue for generating GHZ-like states with a large particle number, which holds great potential for the study of macroscopic quantum effects and for applications in quantum metrology and quantum information.

Abstract:We propose an efficient method to generate multiparticle entangled states of nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in a spin-mechanical system, where the spins interact through a collective coupling of the Lipkin-Meshkov-Glick (LMG) type. We show that through adiabatic transitions in the ground state of the LMG Hamiltonian, the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ)-type or the W-type entangled states of the NV spins can be generated with this hybrid system from an initial product state. Because of adiabaticity, this scheme is robust against practical noise and experimental imperfection, and may be useful for quantum information processing.

After an atom has interacted with a cavity field, initially in a coherent state, it is detected through the Raman coupling. Then the cavity field collapses into a Schrodinger cat state.

Abstract:We propose a scheme for generating maximally GHZ state for four atoms trapped in a two-mode optical cavity via combination of cavity QED and linear optics system. The GHZ state can be not only generated deterministically with a single resonant interaction in cavity QED, but also can be prepared probabilistically based on cavity QED and linear optics elements. The fidelity of the entangled states is not affected by the atomic spontaneous, cavity decay, and imperfection of the photon-detectors. Finally, we briefly analyze and discuss the experimental feasibility of the proposed scheme.

Abstract:We propose a scheme to generate multiple-atom entangled states in separate cavities. In our scheme, only weak cross-Kerr mediums, homodyne measurement, and some linear elements are employed. With the help of homodyne measurement, four-atom GHZ state can be obtained with high probability and fidelity, and the proposal can be easily scaled to prepare multiple-atom GHZ state. Under ideal conditions, the success probability will not be affected by atomic numbers.

Abstract:High-dimensional quantum entanglement characterizes the entanglement of quantum systems within a larger Hilbert space, introducing more intricate and complex correlations among the entangled particles' states. The high-dimensional Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state, symbolic of this type of entanglement, is of significant importance in various quantum information processing applications. This study proposes integrating a neutral atom platform with quantum reservoir engineering to generate a high-dimensional GHZ state deterministically. Leveraging the advantages of neutral atoms in a modified unconventional Rydberg pumping mechanism, combined with controlled dissipation, we achieve a three-dimensional GHZ state with a fidelity surpassing 99\% through multiple pump and dissipation cycles. This innovative approach paves the way for experimentally feasible, deterministic preparation of high-dimensional GHZ states in Rydberg atom systems, thereby advancing the capabilities of quantum information processing.

Abstract:Important tasks in cavity quantum electrodynamics include the generation and control of quantum states of spatially separated particles distributed in different cavities. An interesting question in this context is how to prepare entanglement among particles located in different cavities, which are important for large-scale quantum information processing. We here consider a multi-cavity system where cavities are coupled to a superconducting (SC) qubit and each cavity hosts many SC qubits. We show that all intra-cavity SC qubits plus the coupler SC qubit can be prepared in an entangled Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state, by using a single operation and without the need of measurements. The GHZ state is created without exciting the cavity modes; thus greatly suppressing the decoherence caused by the cavity-photon decay and the effect of unwanted inter-cavity crosstalk on the operation. We also introduce two simple methods for entangling the intra-cavity SC qubits in a GHZ state. As an example, our numerical simulations show that it is feasible, with current circuit-QED technology, to prepare high-fidelity GHZ states, for up to nine SC qubits by using SC qubits distributed in two cavities. This proposal can in principle be used to implement a GHZ state for an arbitrary number of SC qubits distributed in multiple cavities. The proposal is quite general and can be applied to a wide range of physical systems, with the intra-cavity qubits being either atoms, NV centers, quantum dots, or various SC qubits.

Abstract:A recent major technological breakthrough in superconducting circuits is the realization of more than 50 qubits arranged on two-dimensional (2D) lattices with tunable nearest-neighbor couplings. We propose a protocol to generate Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states on 2D superconducting-qubit lattices by applying multiqubit controlled- i swap gates in parallel. The multiqubit gate can be naturally implemented based on an effective three-body interaction, which can be synthesized with appropriate detunings and coupling strengths between qubits. We simulate the preparation process of GHZ states with realistic parameters, and show a 37 -qubit GHZ state can be generated with a controlled- i swap depth of 3 . Our proposal provides a more promising method of generating GHZ states on the latest 2D superconducting-qubit architectures and will stimulate the preparation of multiqubit entangled states based on multiqubit gates. https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevApplied.18.064036 © 2022 American Physical Society

Abstract:The physics associated with multipartite high-dimensional entanglement is different from that of multipartite two-dimensional entanglement. Therefore, preparing multipartite highdimensional entanglements with linear optics is challenging. This study proposes a preparation protocol of multiphoton GHZ state with arbitrary dimensions for optical systems. Auxiliary entanglements realize a high-dimensional entanglement gate to connect the high-dimensional entangled pairs to a multipartite high-dimensional GHZ state. Specifically, we use the path degrees of freedom of photons to prepare a four-partite, three-dimensional GHZ state. Our method can be extended to other degrees of freedom to generate arbitrary GHZ entanglements in any dimension.

Abstract:GHZ state plays a crucial role in quantum computing and quantum communication. Thus, the fast and robust generation of GHZ state is important. In this paper, we propose a scheme for fast generation of three-particle GHZ state with Rydberg superatoms. The quantum information is encoded in the collective states of superatom which contains many individual inverted-Y Rydberg atoms. When the Rabi frequencies of classical fields are appropriately regulated, this scheme can be completed in one step with quantum Zeno dynamics and transitionless quantum driving. In addition, we analyze the influence of decoherence, noise and cavity loss on the fidelity. Numerical simulation results show that the scheme has a high fidelity. Subsequently, the -particle GHZ state is generated with the same method. Meanwhile, we analyze the population and fidelity when =16.

Abstract:We describe the creation of a Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state of the form |000>+|111> (three maximally entangled quantum bits) using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). We have successfully carried out the experiment using the proton and carbon spins of trichloroethylene, and confirmed the result using state tomography. We have thus extended the space of entangled quantum states explored systematically to three quantum bits, an essential step for quantum computation.
