Abstract:Objective:In order to analyze the current research status of handover shift in nursing management, summarize, analyze and judge the existing literature, in order to provide reference for clinical nursing practice.Methods:Through literature review, it is planned to review the current situation, shortcomings and future development of nursing handover classes.Results:The handover process was generally divided into four stages, of which SBAR was the best practice tool for handing over key information. For the performance of handover shifts, NASR, PVNC-BR, HES and Handoff CEX were often used to evaluate the performance of shifts, and for the results of shifts, evaluations were mostly conducted at the levels of patient safety, process elements, and organizational management. At present, the use of electronic information systems, benign organizational culture and patient and family-centered clinical practice could effectively improve the efficiency and effectiveness of handover.Conclusions:The process and elements of the current shift mode are relatively complete, and the communication strategy is reasonable, but there are still many shortcomings and defects. This suggests that nursing managers should adopt scientific intervention methods and evaluation tools when paying attention to and reforming nursing handover in the future to continuously improve the quality of handover.

Abstract:The change of nursing management is of great significance to improve the service quality and management level of the hospital. The authors summarized the research progress of shared governance model in hospital nursing management, including the development and connotation of the model, related influencing factors, evaluation tools and application results. The authors proposed the enlightenment of participating in shared governance to China′s nursing management, as well as related problems and suggestions for its implementation, so as to provide new ideas and scientific references for the transformation of nursing management in China.
The Effect of Felt Trust from Patients among Nurses on Attitudes Towards Nursing Service Delivery.

Abstract:AIMS To examine how felt trust motivates nurses to desire to deliver better nursing services and how perspective taking makes nurses feel trusted by their patients. By introducing the concept of prosocial motivation into nursing research, this study further explored a boundary condition that influences the positive relationship between felt trust from patients and attitudes towards nursing service delivery. DESIGN This study used a cross-sectional and survey design. METHOD This study was conducted among 339 nurses on medical teams sent to support Hubei, China, during the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020. RESULTS The results indicate that felt trust from patients mediated the positive relationship between perspective taking and attitudes towards nursing service delivery. In addition, prosocial motivation moderated the relationship between felt trust from patients and attitudes towards nursing service delivery, such that the relationship was stronger when prosocial motivation was high (vs. low). Prosocial motivation also moderated the indirect effects of perspective taking on attitudes towards nursing service delivery via felt trust from patients. CONCLUSION This study shows that despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, nurses who experience a high level of trust from patients are still eager to deliver high-quality nursing services, and this finding is especially salient among those with high prosocial motivation. IMPACT This study introduces felt trust from patients as a new motivational mechanism that can induce nurses' willingness to deliver better nursing services. We suggest that nurses and nurse leaders should be aware of the significance of the trust relationship between nurses and patients. Nurses need to be trained to take patients' perspectives in the interaction process, which can make them feel trusted by patients and can consequently be motivated to deliver better nursing services.

Abstract:With the improvement of medical level and the increase of people\u0027s demand for health services, the imbalance of supply and demand between doctors and patients leads to the increase of the number of doctor-patient risk cases. The tense doctor-patient relationship has attracted the attention of various academic circles. Risk perception has an evaluation effect on the occurrence of doctor-patient risk, and it is also the key to the development of doctor-patient risk events. It is of great significance to grasp the research progress of doctor-patient risk perception in real time for improving the tense situation of doctor-patient relationship, perfecting its guidance mechanism and reducing the doctor-patient risk events. This study is based on the theory of risk perception, through literature review, to explore the research progress of doctor-patient risk perception, and provide theoretical basis for doctor-patient risk management.

Abstract:Introduction Hope should be fostered by providing information to help service users develop an understanding of psychological difficulties and encourage an active role in their self-care. This might include providing an open caring environment, nurse presence, comfort/pain relief, and involving patients in their care. Objectives To analyze the critical importance of hope-inspiring competence as a high-quality mental health nursing care in recovery-oriented practice. Methods This was a reflective and discursive study based on experiential aspects of hope in mental health recovery. Results Hope and hopelessness are important determinants of mental health. Hope has a positive influence on people's mental health, on increasing comfort and satisfaction with life and on reducing negative emotions and suicide, decreasing the predisposition to addiction, and preventing family exhaustion, with a predictive effect on subjective well-being and protection of mental health. The concept of hope-inspiring competence is introduced to denote a relatively high level of the Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses ability to instil and maintain hope for recovery in people with mental health disorders. Conclusions The evidence seems to point to the importance of incorporating hope in collaborative strategies to promote mental health and manage mental health disorders. Despite this recognition of the role of the specialist nurse in psychiatric-mental health in training for hope, the way it develops in the context of specialized practice lacks evidence and visibility. A vision of recovery from mental illness exists, and hope, trust and self-determination should be incorporated into all treatment models. Disclosure No significant relationships.

Abstract:Objective To understand the experience of hope in young breast cancer survivors,to explore survivors′understanding,resource and influence of hope.Methods Based on a phenomenological approach,17 young breast cancer survivors were interviewed.The data were analyzed by using MAXQDA10.Results Such 4 themes were extracted from the interviews as understandings of hope,the resource of hope,the power of hope,and hope as being dynamic and internalized when living with cancer. Conclusion The experience of hope in young breast cancer survivors is particularly unique.Medical staff should sensitively understand their resource of hope and expectations,and provide psychosocial interventions to improve their quality of life.

Abstract:Purpose To synthesise qualitative research on the parental hope experiences for children with cancer and identify the levels of parental hope experiences and psychosocial adjustment during cancer events. Methods Five electronic databases (Cochrane Library, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and CINAHL) and three Chinese databases (CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP) were used to retrieve qualitative studies on the hope experiences of parents of children with cancer from inception to February 2023. The Joanna Briggs Institute Qualitative Assessment and Review Instrument (JBI-QARI) was used to assess the methodological quality of the included studies. Data were synthesised using a thematic analysis. Results Four analytical themes were identified: the process and way hope exists, sources of hope, positive effects of hope, and obstacles to hope maintenance. Conclusions Maintaining hope is crucial for parents who are caring for their children with cancer. There are different sources of hope, and targeted interventions can enhance the experience of hope for parents of children with cancer. Families, healthcare providers, and society should pay more attention to the parents of children with cancer and provide them with psychological, social, and financial support to improve their level of hope and quality of care.

Abstract:Objective To study the effect of hope therapy in nursing intervention of donor artificial insemination patients. Methods 220 cases of donor artificial insemination patients admitted from July 2020 to June 2022 were randomly divided into general intervention group and special intervention group, 110 cases in each group. The ordinary intervention group was treated with ordinary nursing, and the special intervention group was treated with hope therapy on the basis of above. The pregnancy rate, abortion rate, birth rate, self-efficacy, negative emotion and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no difference in pregnancy rate and abortion rate between the two groups (P＞0.05). The infant acquisition rate of special intervention group was higher than that of ordinary intervention group (P＜0.05). Before intervention, there were no significant differences in self-efficacy scale scores and negative emotion scores between the two groups (P＞0.05). After intervention, the scores of self-efficacy scale in the special intervention group were higher than those in the common intervention group, while the scores of SDS and SAS were lower than those in the common intervention group (P＜0.05). The nursing satisfaction of special intervention group was higher than that of ordinary intervention group (P＜0.05). Conclusion The application of hope therapy in donor artificial insemination patients can improve the rate of getting babies, reduce psychological burden and improve nursing satisfaction.

Abstract:This paper is dedicated to reviewing relative research on humanistic caring ability of intern nursing students and proposing strategies to improve humanistic caring ability. Firstly, current paper collected information from both domestic and foreign literature, and then scientific analysis, summary and overview of research results were conducted with regards to humanistic caring ability of interns nursing students. By analyzing the current situation of intern nursing students' humanistic caring ability, and factors that have influence on humanistic caring ability of intern nursing students, the present paper is determined to come up with feasible change methods and form strategic paths. At present, the humanistic care ability of intern nursing students is relatively low. Students, schools, hospitals, and the society all exert influence on the humanistic care ability of intern nursing students. Although scholars' research is different in topics or focus, the conclusions drawn from this research are highly consistent. Nursing humanistic care is the internal quality of nursing staff concerning morality, humanity, and integration of knowledge, concepts, and attitudes. Nursing humanistic care ability includes caring experience ability and caring behavior ability. The necessary psychological characteristics of personality are regarded as a special ability. It is of great significance to promote the quality of nursing and humanistic care ability of intern nursing students who serve as the backup force of nursing talent team. Meanwhile, it is imperative to strengthen the construction of intern nursing students' humanistic care ability.

Hope and depression: the mediating role of social support and spiritual coping in advanced cancer patients

Abstract:Background Depression is the most common mental disorder in patients with advanced cancer, which may lead to poor prognosis and low survival rate. This study aims to explore the serial multiple mediating roles of social support and spiritual coping between hope and depression among patients with advanced cancer. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in China between May and August 2020. A total of 442 advanced cancer patients were investigated by the following self-reported questionnaires: Herth Hope Index (HHI), Spiritual Coping Questionnaire (SCQ, Chinese version), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). Results Depression was negatively correlated with hope, social support, and positive spiritual coping ( P < 0.01), and positively correlated with negative spiritual coping ( P < 0.01). Hope explained 16.0% of the variance in depression. Bootstrap analyses of the hope--social support--positive spiritual coping--depression showed that there were direct [B = -0.220, 95%CI(− 0.354, − 0.072)] and indirect effects of hope on depression mediated solely by social support [B = -0.122, 95%CI(− 0.200, − 0.066)] and positive spiritual coping [B = -0.112, 95%CI(− 0.217,-0.025)], or by both together [B = -0.014, 95%CI(− 0.038,-0.003)]. Similarly, the hope--social support--negative spiritual coping--depression showed that there were direct [B = -0.302, 95%CI(− 0.404, − 0.190)] and indirect effects of hope on depression mediated solely by social support [B = -0.126, 95%CI(− 0.205, − 0.071)] and negative spiritual coping [B = -0.033, 95%CI(− 0.080,-0.002)], or by both together [B = -0.010, 95%CI(− 0.030,-0.001)]. Conclusions This study proves the hypothesis that social support and spiritual coping play intermediary roles between hope and depression. Interventions established through hope, social support and spiritual coping can effectively prevent depression from occurring.

The experience of hope in dyads living with advanced chronic illness in Portugal: a longitudinal mixed-methods study

Abstract:Background: Hope is an important resource that helps patients and families thrive during difficult times. Although several studies have highlighted the importance of hope in different contexts, its specific manifestations in the realm of advanced chronic illness need further exploration. In this study, we sought to elucidate the intricate interplay between the construct of hope and the lived experience of advanced chronic illness within patient-caregiver dyads. Our objectives were (a) to explore the dyadic experience of hope as a changing dynamic over time for patients living with advanced chronic illness and their informal caregivers and (b) to evaluate variations of hope and symptom burden across time. Methods: We conducted a longitudinal mixed-methods study with a convergent design between December 2020 and April 2021. Patients living with advanced chronic illness and informal caregivers participated as a dyad (n = 8). The Herth Hope Index scale was used to measure dyads' level of hope and the Edmonton Symptom Assessment System was used to measure patients' symptom burden. Descriptive statistics were undertaken. A thematic analysis as described by Braun and Clarke was conducted to analyze dyadic interview data. Dyads' experience of hope was described by using the six dimensions of hope in the Model of Hope of Dufault and Martocchio. Results: Dyadic scores of hope and patients' symptom burden were stable over time. The constructs of hope in dyads included "Living one day at the time," "Having inner force/strength," and "Maintaining good health." Changes in patterns of hope were captured for each dyad in their transition over time. Data converged for all dyads except one. Conclusions: The findings of our study show a constant presence of hope even in the face of adversity. Healthcare professionals must find ways to promote hope in dyads of patients living with advanced chronic diseases. Nurses play a pivotal role; dyadic interviews should be promoted to create a safe space for both patients and informal caregivers in order to share experiences. More research is needed to address patients' and informal caregivers' hope in chronic illness because current hope-based interventions primarily target cancer diagnoses.
