Abstract:Along with the acceleration of urbanization,a great number of historic and cultural resources in Chongqing are confronted with tremendous.crisis This article first formulates the concept of the historic and cultural districts of Chongqing,and then analyzes their cultural significances and classification.The focus on the exploration for the assessment methods of historic and cultural districts of Chongqing in this paper attempts to improve the current assessment system,and hence essentially promote the preservation of historic and cultural resources in Chongqing.
