Discrimination of Library Science Research Methods and Relative Conceptions

Abstract:Library Science Research Methods are scientific patterns if one want to engage in library science research.Mostly,library science are on behalf of some favorite research methods from social science,such as questionnaire survey and statisical analysis.Both of them are empirical quantitative analysing methods.Scholars also borrow interpretative and critical methods,such as documental analysing method,historical textual research method,case study method,reflection and criticism method.Generally,Library science research methods are correlating with others,such as library science methodology,general academic research methods,library science specialized methods.They have many differences yet.Recently,there are prevalent in "library science specialized research methods" which are definite false conceptions.It is advisable to stop using false conceptions in library science research.
