A Spatial Statistical Analysis on Distribution of Minority of Yunnan Province

Abstract:Spatial autocorrelation is one kind of spatial statistics,which can disclose the spatial correlation of observation.Based on the spatial statistics analysis about the distribution of Minority of YunNan province with the data of the total Minority population,Minority population growth rate form1990 to 2005,the authors find out the Minority population distribution showing a high level positive spatial autocorrelation;The Minority population distribution regions are always the same,and display the strong stability.Furthermore the authors find out the Minority population growth rate of different county's have no relationship with geographical space.But the differences in the levels of economic growth are the most important reason for the differences of Minority population growth rate between different counties.
