On Enterprise Development and Dynamic Scale Selection in Complex Environment

Abstract:The enterprise development process in complex environment has certain feature of randomness,volatility,continuous self-adjustment and self-optimization.But the common enterprise development phase classification theory havs not profoundly discussed this phenomenon and might lead to the inflexible management of enterprises.In order to strengthen the self adaptability of enterprises,the article starts the discussion from the theory of capacity and transaction cost,proposes the Dynamic Scale viewpoint,believing that enterprises should define the valid frontier of enterprises,dynamically select the compatible enterprise scale,achieving the objective of stability and flexibility of enterprises through comparison of internal and external transaction costs according to the self core capacity.The article attempts to do some empirical study with the example of enterprise technological cooperation.
