Chemical Constituents of Tongoloa silaifolia

Abstract:Six compounds were isolated from the whole herbs of Tongoloa silaifolia by column chromatographies on silica gel,polyamide,Sephadex LH-20 and macroporous resin.Their structures were identified as suberosin(1),crenulatin(2),7-hydroxy-methoxycoumarin(3),luteolin-7-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside(4),apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(5),and daphnolin(6) by physicochemical properties and NMR spectral data.All compounds were found in Tongoloa genus for the first time,while compounds 3,4,and 6 were obtained from the family Umbelliferae for the first time.
