Abstract:Objective To evaluate the status of management and use of antibacterial drugs in our hospital.Methods Retrospective method was used to sampling survey according to the 16 indexs of the use of international antibacterial drugs. Results There are 57 kinds of antibacterial drugs in the essential drugs list of our hospital.The patients who used more than one kind of antibacterial drugs occupied 69.35% in all inpatients.The mean kinds of antibacterial drugs was 2.6 per prescription.The mean cost of antibacterial drugs was$494.93 per patient.The mean course of treatment with antibacterial drugs(not for prevention fromⅠ,Ⅱcategory incision infection)was 6.87 days.60.65% patients who suffered operation were administered antimicrobial drugs for preventive use.58.33% of pneumonia patients were treated according to the guidelines, in which 85% were administered with recommended dose.69.28% were prescribed by common names of antibacterial drugs.Only 7.91% obtained susceptibility test results of pathogenic bacteria among all the patients who were administered antibacterial drugs.Conclusion There still lack regular guidance documents for the treatment of drugs in our hospital.It's need to strengthen the standard use of antibacterial drugs.
