The Revolution and Reform of Neoinstitutional Economics

Abstract:Neoinstitutional economics,claimed as a revolution in economics,seems to many people as self-evident conclusions.However,there remain some doubts as to whether the real nature of this revolution can withstand deliberation or whether there will be some new discoveries even after deliberation.A brief survey of the features and limitations of leading economics and a summary of the revolutionary approaches and results concerning neoinstitutional economics demonstrate that though this revolutions has achieved prominent results in inheriting and developing neoclassical economics,there still lacks a strict and revolutionary analytical framework and therefore there is still a long way to go for this revolution.
