Abstract:With the progress of the times, Chinese education must enable students to understand that architecture is not only a tool for life, but also an artistic creation. Architectural aesthetics also involves historical, cultural, and social factors, as well as psychological health. To cultivate architects with good artistic cultivation, it is necessary to increase education in art, aesthetics, psychology, and humanities such as traditional architectural theory, Chinese traditional philosophy, Chinese and Western architectural aesthetics, aesthetic principles, Chinese and foreign art history, mental health, architectural geomantic omen, literature, calligraphy and painting appreciation, sculpture, photography, etc. In recent years, some art colleges in China, such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University, have successively introduced the subject of architecture, which is a great experiment and makes up for the shortcomings of traditional engineering and architecture colleges that focus on technology and light art. In terms of architecture education, it is necessary to cultivate students' creative thinking and enhance their artistic cultivation, and closely unite architectural aesthetics with mental health. In this regard, we are continuously discussing teaching methods, summing up teaching experience, and introducing new ideas to keep pace with the times.

Abstract:The development of contemporary society brought the revival of aesthetics,which is connected with the transformation of aesthetics paradigm.This paper holds that,in worldwide,the aesthetics building that takes Kantian Aesthetics as the basic framework began to collapse in the last thirty years,and a new aesthetics paradigm which takes Marxism Aesthetics as corpus coming into being.Due to various reasons,there are many blurs and confusions in domestic aesthetic circle on contemporary aesthetics' basic issues,theoretical methods,and core category etc.This paper puts forward the author's basic assumptions from three aspects to explain the contemporary aesthetics theory.

Abstract:The shackle that binds the sunstantial development of Chinese comes from the dual-contrast thinking mode on the basis of epistemology which stings to the view of duality between subject and object. The re-discussion in 1990 on Paris Manuscripts, particularly on Law of Beauty, sufficiently revealed the confinement of the above-mentioned thinking to aesthetic study. And the 1990's argument on practical aesthetics raised several constructive opinions of importance to the development of Chinese aesthetics, but retained some misunderstandings and disputable views. Therefore, the development of aesthetic study won't expect a breakthrough unless it gets rid of the restraint of the mode of epistemological dual-contrast thinking. From this perspective, we conclude that Mr. Jiang Kongyang's theory of aesthetic relationship on the basis of the theory of practice and that of creativity presents a valuable approach to attain the objective.

Abstract:In order to find a way to combine traditional culture with modern living needs, taking “Chinese painting” as the breakthrough point, through the study of the development process and artistic characteristics of Chinese painting, four aspects of classical philosophy, natural landscape image, brush and ink composition artistic conception, and abstract aesthetic conception contained in Chinese painting are summed up. The results of the study provide enlightenment for contemporary residential landscape design, and summarize the methods of creating Chinese paintings in residential landscape design. Thus, a residential landscape model with the characteristics of “Chinese painting” is found out.

Abstract:A comparative study of Chinese and western philosophy and aesthetics helps to find out the differences between and basic characteristics of Chinese and western aesthetic categories. The study can be carried out from the angles of the disciplinary course and mode of thinking of aesthetic system, of the establishment and existing pattern of Chinese and western aesthetics, and of the historical development of Chinese and western philosophy and aesthetic categories. We find that western aesthetic categories are featured in determinacy, variability, and scientific logical reasoning.

Abstract:This chapter studies the development and basic ideas of Chinese aesthetics by reviewing the history of aesthetic perspective from the Han Dynasty; the Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties; the Tang Dynasty; the Five Dynasties; the Song and Yuan Dynasties; and the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The ancient Chinese artists pursued the artistic conception of beauty, namely, the integration of mind and objects, sentiments, and scenes, and the fusion of subjective emotions and objective landscape. Nevertheless, this conception overlooks the function of practice, the intermediary between mind and objects. Actually, there are three fundamental elements: emotion (first feeling) of aesthetic subjects; artistic conception sensed through the painting brush in practice (perception); poetry, books, songs, and paintings as artistic finished products (containing essence and sentiments). It is the combination, conformity, and harmonious co-existence of these three essentials (namely subject–practice–object) that constitute the art system aesthetics or design aesthetics.

Abstract:A metaphysics of aesthetics aims for an understanding of the meaning of life and a pursuit of spiritual liberty, an idyllic state where truth, goodness and beauty are in harmony.It is a special form of man′s ultimate concerns.There are three thought paths in a metaphysics of aesthetics in the tradition of eastern and western aesthetic wisdom, namely, external transcendence, internal transcendence and transcendence of the here and now.Religion is the supreme cultural form of im-mortality and spiritual transcendence.Modern Chinese metaphysics of aesthetics manifests a tension between new and old el-ements characteristic of a transitional period in society and culture.

Abstract:In 1926, Chen Wangdao published Introduction to Aesthetics which was an important achievement in the initiative period of modern Chinese Aesthetics, and paved the way for Chen’s debate with Pan Jiao focusing on the and particular characteristics of in 1927. In this book, Chen postulated aesthetic perception instead of nature of beauty as the main point of research within a theoretic frame which is common to Chinese aesthetics in the 1920s, and his constructive speculation of aesthetics as a descriptive science instead of philosophy is consistent with the approach of Marxist aesthetics. Both Chen’s book and his debate with Pan are still instructive to contemporary aesthetic research and many of his theoretical contributions remain to be uncovered.

Abstract:This paper analyzes and discusses the development form of Chinese contemporary oil painting in the past 30 years, and thinks that in the past 30 years, after the baptism of Western cultural thoughts, postmodern thoughts have been deeply rooted in the hearts of Chinese people. Under this background, Western modern culture has brought rich topics to Chinese oil painting, and Chinese oil painting language is also transforming under the impact of Western artistic thoughts. This paper also summarizes the two aspects of Chinese contemporary art criticism during the period of 1990-2020. This paper holds that only by accurately grasping the characteristics of The Times and starting from the simple life can contemporary Chinese oil painting see the truth, goodness and beauty of art from life, and only by returning to the real "contemporary" can it absorb the essence from it and have enduring vitality.

Abstract:At this stage, the promotion of China's agricultural revitalization plan has provided new demands for the development of agricultural construction. In the process of urban and rural planning, more and more attention has been paid to the protection of rural traditional culture and aesthetic values, as well as the requirements of characteristic aesthetics. In recent years, as we pay more and more attention to the environmental protection ability and aesthetic ability of rural life, we also pay more attention to improving the rural environment, promoting rural rejuvenation, and paying attention to shaping the livable space quality of rural living environment to meet the needs of modern life and soul. "Beautiful countryside" is one of the modern development concepts explicitly put forward by China, which advocates the harmonious symbiosis aesthetic idea of "harmony between man and nature." Building a beautiful countryside is the key point of rejuvenating the countryside, and the exploration of rural aesthetics is also the important significance of realizing the great rejuvenation goal of China's rural areas. Environmental design in the construction of "beautiful countryside" is a major decision and historical task for building a new countryside in China, and building landscape design suitable for the needs of rural development is the current requirement of social development. The article firstly analyzes the challenges and opportunities of China's "beautiful countryside" environmental construction; secondly, by digging into the philosophical ideas of deep ecology, ecological aesthetics, and the relationship between man and land in the West, it analyzes the application strategies and practical methods of these practical philosophies. It provides corresponding theoretical and practical enlightenment for my country's "beautiful countryside" environmental design strategy.
