Combining Engineering Case and Research Results to Chemical Engineering Principles Teaching

Abstract:Chemical Engineering Principles is a curriculum with high practicality and engineering applicability.Based on practical engineering cases and scientific research results,the concrete application of the basic principles of"three transfer"in optimization and improvement of chemical process design was taught.Thus learning interest of students was enhanced,their exploration spirit was stimulated,their practical ability and sense of innovation were cultivated,and their research perspective was broadened.The basic principles and typical equipments in the curriculum could be better grasped by students.Based on the authors' teaching practice,the teaching methods with introduction of engineering case and research projects were discussed.
