Management Process Reengineering of High-value Medical Materials in the Operating Room: Thinking in View of the Perspective of Information Technology

Abstract:According to investigations, at present, management model of high-value medical consumptive materials is broadly divided into two types in the domestic hospital operating rooms. One is managed by setting up high-value medical consumptive material secondary database which will consume more labor costs; the other is administered by bar code management system. This kind of management model can save more labor costs and time and trace the turning process of the product. But it can’ t bring the bar code into play in actual operations. Aiming at the practical requirements of hospitals, the paper will think of the maneuverability and validity of the consumptive material management process. And it will do much more researches on the consumptive material management process in the operating rooms, which base on bar code management system. The more important is that ID management model after the survey and analysis about the high-value medical consumptive materials management process will be advanced in hospital operating rooms.
