Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To explore the approach to improve the management of hospital high-risk medicines.METHODS:The problems of the management of high-alert medicines in our hospital were confirmed,appropriate management systems and measures were formulated,and relative knowledge of medical staff on high-risk medicines was investigated before and after intervention to evaluate the effect of management.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The main management problems of high-risk medicines in our hospital were as follows:the medical staff are not familiar with its concept and classification;there are no list,management system and measures,special logo and warning station for high-risk medicines,and so on.Relevant measures were developed to solve the above-mentioned problems,including establishing high-risk medicines management system,defining high-risk medicines which mostly needed to strengthen management,formulating high-risk medicines management information network,improving consciousness of risk protection of medical staff.Multiple cognition index were improved significantly after intervention.Based on the characteristics of high-risk medicines and the management of problems,the management system and measures are formulated to improve the management of high-risk medicines and decrease the occurrence of drug adverse event of it.
